I just bought a 74 260, and got it running, well sort of. It runs smooth, but rich at 2500 rpm up. the real problem is idle which it loads up very bad) and up to 2500 rpm. It black smokes and runs extremely rich like the chokes are stuck on but they arent.How do I go about fixing these wonderous:sick: Hitachi carbs? i have tried to follow the tuning procedures, but I suspect it to be something internal, or possibly with the idle air adjustmant? any help would be appreciated.

i have a white interior, so I will be changing all of the white parts to black. anything you have that is black and in good condition wil be good. Where do I find black carpet for the car?

Ok, who makes, or made the commonly seen 3 piece unit that is seen on older Z's? I was under the impression that it was a datsun part.
