i saw how the choke mechanism has a spring on it, so i decided to put a spring on the throttle linkage too. works well enough for now until i can find time to fix it.
i have dual webers (dgv) and my throttle is sticking. all of the plastic ball joints are worn out, and the previous owner has them held together with safety wire. is this the same linkage used on the SU carbs or is it weber- specific? i would like to buy this new. what are some good temporary fixes for the sticking problem?
i have a 1972 240z that i bought in october, and i just got insurance on it and im starting to drive it now. it has had some bad bodywork done before. there is cracked bondo all over. its horrible looking. what does everyone suggest i do about all of this?? thanks.
these little buttons holding the panel around the small rear window are giving me trouble. some have the center misssing and they come right out, but they dont really help to hold the panel on very much. there are some with the center still in, and i cant figure out how to get these out. i tried prying one off, but it broke. can anyone help me out? thanks
