Hi Frank, I’m interested in the mikuni’s, are they still available, can you tell me are they 40 or 45mm? If you have a picture of them, it would be perfect. Did they came from your car, have you seen then running?

check this: A complete set of JDM fiberglass bolt-on fender flares that I have brought in from Japan. Made for the 240Z, they will also fit the 311 Fairlady, RX-7, and Opel GT. They allow you to run 2" wider rims to get BIG tires under your car. Just position, and mark holes, drill, and install with stainless steel screws, or pop-rivets. Also cleans up appearance if you have to cut out your stock fenders for clearance after lowering. Great for SCCA cars, or that killer street machine. There is some minor scratches, but no major cracks. I accept Paypal, Money Orders, and Cashiers Checks. Payment due within 10 days of close of auction. Send your address via e-mail for shipping costs. Make sure to check out my other auctions ----------------------------------------------------- Too many looking, and they are not gone yet - new LOWER BUY-IT NOW price. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1853919841

  5. Be careful where you make jokes about. I do not know the situation in the US but a lot of Z cars in the UK where delivered in that time with a sunroof from the Datsun dealer. I think our UK members/friends can vouch for that?

Yep, and it never rains in California. In silver a Z car looks always good, then you notice all the fine lines in the car

It was December 1997, I rang up a friend of my and asked him “will you assist me in dismantling my Z car”? In two days we had the car completely in parts. Somewhere in April ‘98 the car went in the oven and after that right through to the painter. That took a while. But it was‘t my concern because I had other this to do, we moved to another city!! I got the car back in may ’99 and in July last year (’01), her maiden trip was to the Japanese Extravaganza meeting in the UK. I’m still busy with the car. Now we are making the rosettes (?), I need big mud flaps and a jack-up thing in the middle of the car, triple carbs, a roll bar, etc., etc.

The colour is 905! 905 is a colour that is sometimes pure red and sometimes more orange. It depends of the brightness? of the weather (lux).

This is stage one The car has been into a “pyrolyse” oven! That’s an oven whit only dry heat no flames. Slowly they turn on the temperature up to 360 degrees Celsius and that is 680 Fahrenheit and even so slowly they let it come down. Otherwise you it could happen your car transformed in something you do not like. Its not a well know procedure but surly effective. Al the paint, underneath car protection **** and old rubbers are gone with the wind. This means you have to do the whole car as if it where new from the assembly line. New kit layers new paint underneath, inside and outside. And also the insides off the frame. A hell off a job and I won not recommend it anymore.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1852886251 Vehicle Description I'm an expert 240Z mechanic who is proud to offer this superb 1972 Datsun 240Z from my collection. JUST PAINTED! The new white paint looks fantastic. Her engine runs strong, and a complete tune-up was just performed. This beauty also features the rare automatic transmission, and that was just recently rebuilt. This vehicle also has the following new parts: KYB struts, front & rear tie-rod ends, balljoints, and link kits. Radiator is the 3 core variety. Tires are in excellent shape. The dashboard has a custom fit cover that hides the usual small cracks that commonly develop on these cars. Of note: The filler pipe to the fuel tank has a small hole that I did not have time to fix, so it can leak a little bit of gas when being filled too fast (at high pressure). Fill it up slower and it does not leak. An inexpensive repair if desired. This 240Z is revin' to go! Everything works so it's ready to drive home. Best of all, THERE'S NO RESERVE PRICE! Vehicle Condition This vehicle has current CA registration and a clean title. This vehicle is also smog exempt in CA. Terrific condition overall. Feel free to e-mail me with your questions.
