240z cartoon
what you al ways wanted to know! Commic Book on Hyper TUNED S30 Fairlady Z Other phenomenal boom is so called "Wangan Mid-night", a very popular comics about modified S30 Fairlady (First generation Z model) with L28 3.1L twin turbo car driven by Akio. "Wangan" means bay shore and refers to the high way which goes along Tokyo Bay. The story of the comic is pure integrity of group of people who drives that freeway at the speed of over 300 km/h. (I am not sure whether they really exist or not. I have not gone back to Tokyo for two years now.) Akio and his friends pursue their high speed public road racing to beat his legendary Fairlady Z tuned by Kazami tuner from hell. The Z is rumored to have its own will, sort of thing which reminds me of Christine by Steven King, and just show royalty to Akio only. The Z and Akio were challenged by their rivals and friends who drives modern cars such as Porsche 964Turbo, Skyline GT-R and RX-7. Akio even builds modified Supra with genious auto body builder Takagi to provide his rival a car that can beat his Z. regards,

Rolf, I’ve got that video as well, are we talking about the same one? Fairlady’s in the Monte Carlo 1968, 240Z’s in the1972, EAS 20th, 21st, 1970…etc. The quality is indeed not perfect but that makes it even more adorable. Considering the original movie was taken 30 years ago. I never heard about a Vol.2. If I should design such a video I would write the same thing on it. Makes it even more interesting to collect. But as being a ‘Z-point’ those roomers never got to me. So I would stop searching to that second one. Regards,

Rally anyone?
Mike, Somewhere in ’72 – ’73 (or more) the Datsun’s drove in the Southern Cross Rally of Australia. What we like to know is: what where the start numbers, license plates and (co)-drivers of the Datsun’s. And can you find any pictures? We are trying to create a victory super list. Look at the link. Maybe you can help down under!! Greetings,

Rally anyone?
Rolf, Thing is, every lamp set has his own relay and own wiring. The fog beam and the far beam also. Otherwise the amperage gets to high as you already mentioned. Perhaps you could also install a dynamo of a 280ZX? What you need is a normal kind of relay with 4 poles 30, 85, 86 and 87. With this and lots of wiring, you can use both sets at once. Even in combination with your standard headlights. And for the headlight circuit you also have a solution to minimize the amperage. Go to Pete Paraska pparaska@comcast.net IZCC#15 73 240Z marathon project <http://mywebpages.comcast.net/pparaska/> See <http://HybridZ.org> for Datsun Z car drivetrain/susp/brake/chassis/body mods There you find this link: 240Z Headlight Relay Circuit, this is also very useful and will kill amperage through the wires and headlight switch. Good luck Guus Z-point If you like I could send you a bigger picture of the wiring!
