honestly i wouldn't be trying to rely on them for anything.. given the feedback from the other website. if you won the auction, and then got somebody here to pick it up, and take it to whatever shipping you arrange then it should be okay. if it isn't registered (either in NSW or QLD) then it would need to go onto a trailer to get driven to the shipping company, so you would be up for trailer costs and petrol i would guess (around $200-$400 for a weekend) none of us (i assume) have had any experience in shipping a car out of australia, so i have no idea what proof you would need for the shipping company etc. for them to accept it

if it is the car that was up in QLD, i have no doubt that it is a tidy specimen, i can't imagine them removing parts or anything. The car is apparently in minchinbery (out towards mt druitt), they obviously have no idea what the car is and are incapible of doing a search to see what a reasonable price is for it ($7000... that is the biggest joke!, you may get that for a car with <10,000KM!). i would be interested to know how they even came across the car, and what made them think it is worth so much. it certainly isn't a cult car (yet ) like the 1600 i wouldn't be surprised if they are jacking the price too, they certainly don't seem to be on the straight and narrow.
  3. youch! hope our cars are worth that much one day!

Hi Guys, on the weekend the price GT club of australia had a meetup at bathurst. Luckily i was able to drop in and meet up with both Jim and Lachlan (Bruce went as well, but unfortunately i missed him). i took a few photos on the day (mostly of Lachlan's car though ), it was getting dark by the time i got there, but better than nothing!! www.project240k.com/events/prince06/index.html Kent

Hi Guys, as i am getting a repo GT-R wing from japan for my C110, i have the wing i was going to modify and use for sale. It is an GMH LC Torana wing, which is very similar but not a perfect match to the GT-R wing, but it is better than nothing The wing is a little long, so it would really need to have a section in the middle removed (maybe 1"), which should get rid of the keyhole in the spoiler. it would probably have to be slightly built up around the edges to meet up with the boot lid. it has a few minor cracks around the edges, and it has been primed, but if you have a little experience in fibreglass, it wouldn't be too hard to fix the whole thing up. I think one of the GTR repo's in NZ has the torana wing on it. i paid about $80 for it a year ago, i probably won't get that much back if i put it on ebay again, so make an offer on it. i am in sydney, it will post but i will need to try and find a box to put it in.

i did think about bidding on the car, but i must admit i am just not as excited about it this time around... even if it is already in sydney and not too far away... i am going to stick with the shell i have

well, i finally got some real feedback from technical wayne.. looks like they missed out quite a bit of kit.. in the kit... he is going to post me out the missing parts (rubbers and links), and he has emailed me some photo's on how it is meant to go together (which is not written in the directions strangely..). i will post them up to my site now i guess i must be a whiteline "test pilot" after all!

finally ----------------------------------------- Hi Kent, My apologies, you are correct. Unfortunately our fitting kit does not include these bushes, it is something that we are looking into including with this kit. Please let me know how many you believe you will need an I will have them posted to you. Kind Regards, Wayne Vickery ------------------------------------------ from the diagram, i assume there should be 4 link rubbers?

looks like a nice product, but this is the 240 "K" forum... i must admit, from the supplied instructions i couldn't be assed climbing under the back of the car to do this yet, especially when i still have a fair bit of work to get done to the rear, (plus it looks a little too complicated to think about yet i did email them back, but yet to receive a reply

received the following reply from whiteline: The BDR5 kit doesn't come with the link bushes. The standard links and bushes are used for this application. not quite sure which standard links and bushes he is talking about, unless it hooks up to the bottom of the shocks
  17. i can't wait! i am really looking forward to it!
  18. lachlan, how did your chrome straightning go? how much did it end up costing you? i hope you got it back by now
  19. Thanks Guys, I had completely forgotten about the R30! George, thanks for those photo's they are of great help. do you know what the half shafts are from? and what stub axles were used? going off the photo of the adaptor, it has 27 splines, 260z? i had received a quote from Stewert for almost $2000 for the conversion, a little more than i wanted to pay, hopefully if i can get some of the bits beforehand, it will be a lot cheaper

90-94 200SX? do you mean the 180SX, we didn't get any 200SX before 1994. those options (200SX and RX7) sound very promising! will have a look around and check them out!
