Needed - Front Drivers window rail
Hi Guys, i managed to snap the head off the bolt holding on the front drivers side Window rail (the part the window guides move up and down on) on my coupe (i assume sedan is different). The bolt is part of the rail. I do not remember seeing a spare in the recent parts move and there aren't any in the rusty spare doors i have, so if anyone else has one can they let me know? Thanks Kent

SYD - 240K part clearout continues
Hi Guys, The cleanout continues.. L24 engine, auto gearbox. Came out of my latest 240K, been well looked after and ran really well.. only issue i know of is a small leak out of one of the welsh plugs. FREE! please pick it up! R200 long nose Differential came out of a 260Z, my records say it has a 3.7 open centre. currently has a set of chopped Z31 half shafts in it to fill the holes at a Z31 rear cover, but i may have the original output shafts around somewhere, but no guarantee's. $250 pickup only 2x Fibreglass reproduction 240K GTR rear bob tail spoilers $200each + postage Fibreglass reproduction 240K GTR style front chin spoiler $200 + postage - Torker Man has 1st dibs Set of 240K coupe front quarter panels - stripped to bare metal then painted in POR15. Has holes cut out for fender mirrors and guards cut out for flares. they need to be straightened a little and repaired. $50 for the pair - pickup only Z32 300ZX NA front brake calipers - aluminimum ones, powdercoated in fire engine red.. got a set of new seals for them somewhere too..cost me a fortune to have coated etc.$100 + postage EOI on a set of triple webers (not sure if DCOE40 or 45 yet) with linkages and manifold, need to work out what they are and what they are worth first though.. they were running on an L28 (and tuned by SWR), so could be a little large for most of you. will have a bunch of other parts coming up as i sort through the rest of my stuff (including a rather large pile of chrome work). Also if anyone has a 240Z/260Z, got a fibreglass reproduction G-nose and hinges, as well as a tail spoiler for the 2+2 items are in Sydney north west and pickup items ASAP please.

Some sad news today
Hi Guys, we had the funeral on Tuesday, it was a Tuff day, but the service was good, and it was more a celebration of his life than just a sad day. Still in the process of selling off all of my bits and pieces i have lying around his place and can't find a home for, and making room for the 240K at my parents place. I have managed to sell the rotisserie to the sandblaster so it should save me a little money on them making up brackets, and also give me another $1000 to spend on getting the remaining pieces of the car blasted and primed too. Trying to put off picking up the car for a couple more weeks (which it seems they are happy to accommodate) so hopefully by then everything else will have been sorted out. on a nice note, Mark left me his 1970 series 1 240Z.. the car was very special to him (he had wanted one for a very long time, and i finally managed to convince him a couple of years ago to sell his 260z 2+2 and buy the 240z), and i was greatly relieved (not that relieved is really the right word, i feel bad that it is now mine) to find out that it wasn't going to disappear out of my life. i will get some pictures of the car when i get the chance (forever), unfortunately i only have this photo of the car (i need to try and find Mark's photo's of us picking it up) I am planning to hold onto the Z for as long as i can hold onto the 240K, just another car to find a home for (though i hope to drive this atleast on weekends when i feel more ok about it) Kent

forged RB26 + 5 speed gearbox
Hi Guys, I have decided that i need to sell the 2nd RB26 engine that i had put away for my 240Z shell (which i have sold). I have been toying with the idea of putting it into the early 240Z which my best mate graciously left me to look after.. but i would probably get pummeled by rest of the Z guys (it is a really early matching numbers car). Email me for more details, but a quick rundown of the package is: R32 RB26DETT engine with forged CP pistons and ARP stud kit - comes with intake and exhaust side and all sensors (minus the AIT and water temp), standard computer, coil packs, wiring loom, 2x AFM's etc. R33 RB25DET 5 speed gearbox with GT-R gear set and short shift kit Nismo lightened flywheel and nismo single plate clutch modified aluminimum sump for RWD the only parts needed to get the engine to fire up are a couple of bolts (i have a list of the part numbers too) and a injector dropping resistor $5500 picked up from north west sydney, unfortunately i can't easily ship it (unless you can arrange pickup including uplift) hoping the money from the engine will get me 99% of the way towards a finally painted 240k! 240K GT parts
haha.. out of the many 240k's i have had, i think only 1 of them had an original engine.. so i am not the best person to answer that

240K GT parts
i believe the runners on the intake are longer too.. will grab a pic tonight. GT's were very early build cars (mine was #280 and australian complied in 01/73), they also lacked some of the emmisions stuff that the later ones had. i am guessing this is why they came with more performance orientated intakes. the story goes that they switched badges to GL's to get over a public/insurance misconception (and insurance brackets), i have only heard of a handful of australian GT's in the wild.. mine is now in the US there are some pic's of Art's 240K GT intake manifold over at : http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/52196-aussie-skyline-history/page__st__80

240K GT parts
Hi Guys, i need to clear some of the stuff i have lying around. Got the following left over from the GT. -240K GT intake manifold and carby - not sure how well the carb will work, it would probably need a new seal kit, but the GT manifold, from what i can gather it is a much wanted part for any 240k that has to stick to factory homogolation and needs the best flowing intake ie. racing $150 -240K GT 4 speed manual gearbox $free pickup on the gearbox, can freight the intake at cost. make me an offer, or i am afraid it will go onto ebay, and failing that.. the bin they really need to go in the next couple of weeks

weatherstripping
they are still there.. they have just redesigned their site. look under Nissan/DAtsun the part code is DAT15 for the 240K kit

Some sad news today
Hi Guys, unfortunately i have some sad news today, My best mate, Mark passed away this morning from bowel/pancreatic cancer. We had been working together on all of my "projects" for over 8 years now (none really completed except the rally car -which we never got to rally). Unfortunately the last 7 months have been really tuff on everyone, hence why my 240K progress ground to a halt. It is hard to motivate yourself to do something when you are use to doing every weekend with a mate (and having him think up ingenious ways to tackle problems). Also having all the stuff at his house, meant that i didn't want to get in the way too much of him and his family. With his death, i am have to find another home for all my bits and pieces, hence why i sold the 240Z shell that i had one day hoped to restore. I have however sent the 240K shell off to get sandblasted and hopefully (budgeting off what i get for the Z) get some rust repairs completed, the shell epoxied and some colour put on the bottom and engine bay of the car. In this state, i should atleast be able to get the drivetrain in and have it once more resemble a car. I know a lot of you don't know him (with the excpetion of Jim, who had met him), but i thought i would share with you all as we have lost true enthusiast. The 240K will be completed, memories alone make it worth it. Kent

SYD - Rotisserie and brackets for 240K
Hi Guys, anyone here interested in a rotisserie with brackets for a 240K? It is second hand, in awesome condition and worked really well. some pictures of it can be found at : http://www.project240k.com/2010/10/spit-240k/ $1000 pickup in Sydney (sorry, i really don't have the time and resources to box it up for interstate )

buying flares, grill etc
not that i have heard unfortuantely.. i would still kill for a set of repro rear tail light surrounds though
-
S13 coil overs
i would love to see that get through engineering seriously.. would it? looks a little "unsafe" to me..

parts manual
very nice, i have an earlier version (RHD though), but that doesn't look as thick as your one.. there are a couple of japanese versions online, i thought about trying to scan mine in, but it would mean pulling the book completely apart.. too hard basket it is great for seeing the factory options on the car (good documentation for getting things past engineering i hope )
