  1. man that brings back some awesome memories That is one super solid car! i remember taking the auto sump off and i was absolutely astonished at how brand new it looked inside! Same for the general condition of the floor and structure! It certainly shows that this car only travelled a short distance in it's life so far! sure it needs a little body work, what 30yo. car wouldn't! (do you still have the plate to replace the roof cover? (it was kicking around under the driver seet when i shipped it) but yes.. the flaires were stuck on temporarily for transport from Australia.. they really do need to have the guards cut to suit
  2. unfortunately he doesn't seem to ever reply to emails.. you are much better off ringing him and continuing to bug him.. it was the only way i got him to do my first set.. and if a few ppl do it at once then there will be more force behind it
  3. Remind him that i am still waiting for him to make a Grill for me i havn't had a chance to bug him in the last month or two Kent

Art, it would be fantastic if you could. on the off chance they can get them, can you get me 2 please . Not sure if the C210 Skyline ones are similar (though They may be the square chunky type like i think the later R30's are)

we have already had 3 complaints to the council, only 1 of them was valid ... they seem to winge and complain now whenever they hear the compressor start (ie. blowing up tyres, rattle gun etc..) .. neighbour from hell (old bat!) I may still be able to spray acryllic on the GT panel by panel especially if i can keep the smell down.. otherwise i will need to find another place to spray

yeah, i had been eyeing these up But most importantly i need the rubber boot that covers the hole first I found in my parts car that it had the tattered remains of one, so atleast i have something to go off now

i have been told that a 15/16" is fine for my R34 GTT calipers, but i am going 1" anyway (with a 10" booster).. though i have no idea yet how it performs.

it is worth it (well, maybe not if you already know how to paint ), and they through on a BBQ too, so you can't go wrong!

no they didn't unfortunately, they glossed over 2-pac mainly because it is illegal to spray it outside of a booth

Hi Guys, if anyone is in Sydney, and interested in spending a morning learning how to repair minor damage and spray paint a car, i would highly recommend going to one of VG Auto Paints free workshops. http://www.vgautopaints.com.au/ I went to yesterdays class, and they do a pretty decent walk through of bogging a minor dent, then preparing it and panting car panels in acrylic. They also allow you to have a go, and offer tips and tricks to make things easier. Of course they make things look so easy They also have a really good range of products onsite. Well worth the trip!

Unfortunately it is taking me a lot longer than expected to get the engine covers painted My powdercoater originally had trouble matching the colour on all the panels, then his gun broke.. hopefully next weekend i will get them back and be able to show it off on a happier note, i successfully repaired my crushed ECU plug with one off a spare RB25DET loom (the connectors are the same) here's a bit of a teaser

oh and just got an email back from tru-fit.. They do still have the capret moulds for the C110 coupe
  19. for that price, buy 2! keep one for a spare. You know that as soon as you replace it, it will get chipped

is a line locker legal? maybe it is worth doing that after the engineering if at all I bought a roll of tube to do the fuel lines, and a pipe bender, so i guess for $500 i will give it a go myself, or just get some braided extensions made up (really i only need to extend to the new brake distribution block), as long as the brake lines don't get damaged in the meantime
  21. youch, that is almost more than i paid for my parts car, complete with all windows
  22. khughes replied to 240kconvertible's post in a topic in 240K Skyline
let me know how much it costs you to do the clutch and brake lines.. i really need to get mine redone too

atleast the way your engine is mounted it is sitting further back in the bay than it would have with the std engine, which should help handling
