Hello, I believe I have the part for which you are searching, but the housing for the crank spindle is riveted in place. I do not mind drilling it out if you think it will help restore your window to an operable condition. Please let me know. Mat

That stuff is OK if you do not have a problem with high vaper pressure eminating from your slab. as with most paint or glue-on concrete coverings, they work excellent untill the ground gets wet, moisture seeps under the pad either by wicking through the crushed rock or sand base, following ground squirrel or mole holes, etc...and comes up through your slab. It all depends if you have a vapor retarding layer of visquene (at least 10 mil) which will reduce the VP of the slab.
  4. Same thing happened when I had my 83 RX-7. Tires were treadwear 400 (elcheapos, although new) and the shocks were original to the car. Better tires and shocks/struts all around helped immensely.

I work as an estimator at a commercial construction company. Some Specifications for concrete, as you would expect, are very stringent. There is a product called "Liqui-Hard" that is supposed to be like a diamond coat for concrete. You can broom it, spray it or scrub it onto the existing concrete. It comes in 5 gal buckets or 55 gal drums. It's not very pretty, it reminds me of a marine varnish color, but you won't scratch or hurt it. The manufacturer is WR Meadows SealTight. I think you have to go through an approved distributor. Check out: www.wrmeadows.com {edit} This product, according to Spec West Distributors in Sacramento, costs $94.75/5 gal and I just found out they sell one gal buckets for $22.95. They will work with you for buying bulk. Coverage for old concrete is 150-250 sq ft/gal.

  9. That thing looks pretty good. Is it on the MSA website? Keep it black. Have you had any experiences with air dams apposed to this? I mean, performance-wise?

I believe this was taken after the Northridge earthquake in CA, around '93. There were 3 or 4 apartment complexes with first floor parking stalls with the apartment above. everything just hit the deck! I lived 15 miles away and it scared the living $**T out of me! :surprised

I am keeping my monkey-puke orange body and trying to bring it back to life. It's in need of all the weather stripping but it's in great shape overall. I got it started about 5 months ago, it turned over about 10 times and refused to light again. I found that the distributor is not producing sparks. Jon, as a matter of fact, let me know about the 280 dizzy swap. That's next. I have one with the correct module and all. I just need the cap and wires. I do have a line on another full carcass in Georgetown. Are you looking for one? I am not sure of what shape it's in...

Not exactly a new member here, but just got into it heavy recently. I got a '71 (HLS 30-19724) from the second owner who had it on his side-yard for 12 years. It is a wonderful shell with no more than 13 dings in the doors/fenders/quarter panels. The biggest one is less than a nickel round. I had to bite my tongue when he told me that he went to a Z car club in Sacramento and nobody had any interest. He wanted $500 for it! Now I have been bitten by the Z bug. I had the fortune of purchasing 20 years' worth of 240, 260 and 280 parts from a guy in Santa Rosa to help me with this venture. Feel free to look me up if you are in need of something stock! I know a few of the members here and on HybridZ, and I appreciate the comradery and helpfulness of everyone involved in the conversations. I am sorry to admit that I was lurker for the past couple of years, but no more. As I learn I will contribute more and more. Hope to hear from you all! Mat
  15. Mike! Happy belated B-day. Have you fixed your situation? IM me, or e-mail me. I have the parts you described.
