  3. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/car/525611374.html I do not know the owner, just thought someone here might be interested...
  4. WarrenZ and madkaw have it pinned, IMHO. IME,, after I cleaned the fuel tank, replaced the filter (5 times), AND installed an electric FP at the tank, the low revving/flat response while in gear (but free revving in neutral) persisted. It turned out to be the in-tank pick-up tube was rusted almost solid, only a trickle of fuel was getting through. Using a copper wire, I reamed out most of it, and VIOLA! I got power back! If only the pick-up assembly were accessible in the 71s...

HA HA. Thanks for the translations! I wonder if supplementing the springs with nitrogen rams would help lift a car off the ground....

  9. I am still willing to trade... Is there anything else you were needing? If the grill from jmortensen doesn't pan out, please contact me.
  10. Oh, I posted before I read your reply.
  11. I apologize for not getting these to you sooner, but please see the pics of the styles of over rider bar I found for the front. Please let me know if you are interested.
  12. Do you have an update yet? Are you in business? When you get the motor to operate, there still isn't a guarantee that the wipers will function properly. You may have to opoen the cowl up and take apart/clean/lube all moving parts so the contraption places a little stress on the motor as possible.
  13. I wonder if Alan T would have more info...
  14. Dave, I think I may have an over rider bar in the barn. I'll look for it tonight and let you know.

An Australian couple, living in Florida, both well into their 80s, go to a sex therapist's office. The doctor asks, "What can I do for you?" The man says, "Will you watch us have sexual intercourse?" The doctor raises both eyebrows, but he is so amazed that such an elderly couple is asking for sexual advice that he agrees. When the couple finishes, the doctor says, "There's absolutely nothing wrong with the way you have intercourse." He thanks them for coming, he wishes them good luck, he charges them $50 and he says goodbye. The next week, however, the couple returns and asks the sex therapist to watch again. The sex therapist is a bit puzzled, but agrees. This happens several weeks in a row. The couple makes an appointment, has intercourse with no problems, pays the doctor, then leave. Finally, after 5 or 6 weeks of this routine, the doctor says, "I'm sorry, but I have to ask. Just what are you trying to find out?" The old man says, "We're not trying to find out anything. She's married and we can't go to her house. I'm married and we can't go to my house. The Holiday Inn charges $98. The Hilton charges $139. We do it here for $50, and I get $43 back from Medicare...!

The Gentle Touch Of A Lady... A rather attractive woman goes up to the bar in a quiet rural pub. She gestures alluringly to the barman who comes over immediately. When he arrives, she seductively signals that he should bring his face close to hers. When he does so, she begins to gently caress his beard which is full and bushy. "Are you the landlord?" she asks, softly stroking his face with both hands. "Actually, no," he replies. "Can you get him for me - I need to speak to him," she says, running her hands up beyond his beard and into his hair. "Im afraid I can't" breathes the barman - clearly aroused. "Is there anything I can do?" "Yes there is. I need you to give him a message," she continues huskily, popping a couple of fingers into his mouth and allowing him to suck them gently. "Tell him that there is no toilet paper in the ladies room."

Gary is on the right track. Do you have a unisync tool? If you search the SU questions forum, you will find your answers. Paul at Z Therapy is an excellent source of SU wisdom.
  19. Where is this "dove tail" located on the door? I have not heard of any part on the doors called that. Are you talking about the rubber seal at the top front of the door, just in front of the stainless steel window rail?

Naw, it was "There's a fool born every minute."
  22. That's just aweful! With that picture Arne posted, with the rear so crumpled toward the cockpit, it wasn't a plastic collision. A LOT of inertia (W=MV) was inparted from the truck into the non-mounted speaker. I bet the speaker DID stay put, or even move further back in the car at the beginning of the impact, but the truck didn't stop when it first hit. The truck travelled into the back of the Z for at LEAST 2 feet. We can work it out... The large mass of the truck M(truck) times the velocity of said truck V(truck) equals the small mass of the speaker V(speak) times the resulting velocity of said speaker... M(truck)V(truck)=M(speak)V(speak) therefore, V(speak) = M(truck)*V(truck)/M(speak) That's pretty fast, even if the truck was only going 10 miles an hour (when it got to the location of the speaker), based on the truck weight of 3000 pounds, and the speaker being about 10 lbs....OK, the mass of the truck was distributed across the rear of the car, so let's give the impact mass of 100 lbs, making the speaker velocity calculate to 100 miles an hour!

I'd like to see an answer posed, as well. The pass. door has all kinds of crackling paint, but the paint won't flake off.

OK, here's what you do next. Find yourself a trebuchet (http://www.ripcord.ws/plans/plans.html). Remove the flat tops, place said flat tops into basket of trebuchet and pull the trigger wire. I have a set of roundtops that work. PM me if you are interested.

Two questions. Where are you located, and do you have a choke? *edit* Good call, Arne, you are quick on the draw, er, type!
