wierd tire wear
Thanks for the help! The car was origionally owned by my uncle, so I know the car is straight, so I'm going to go with bushings. Which brings me to my next question. Are we talking about the rear control arm bushings? Thanks again for the insight. Wayne

wierd tire wear
This has me a little baffled, so I figured i'd ask you guys. My origional intent was to swap out my transmission this morning, but I realized that I forgot to order a new transmission mount. Instead of wasting the rest of the day, I gave the undercarrige a once over. While I was under the car i noticed that my drivers side rear tire had a gash in the inside wall, so I took the car down to discount tire to have them replace it. As it turns out it was a "cosmetic" gash and only "looked" bad. They DID say that the tire needed to be replaced though, but not for the reason that I took it to them. The tire was pretty much bald on the inside, but had normal wear on the outside. All of my other tires had even wear. My question is, how does this happen? The only thing that I can think of is that I had my struts replaced about six months ago and pep boys mis-aligned something. Could this be the problem, or could it be something else? Oh btw, I'm new here, so, Hi all! =]

new paint
This is pretty much how it looks now. I still have things that need to be done (complete bushing set, new carpet), and things that I want to do (lowering springs, turbo swap).

during blocking
This was about 6 months after the engine install. No, it's not a frame up restoration, but it's all I could afford at the time.

new ATK engine
This was the hard part. Not necessarily putting the engine back in, but hooking it back up. My uncle had started to remove the wiring and ancillary components when his home life made him shelve the project for 10 years 'till I came along. He had marked 5 wiring pairs... the rest I had to figure out on my own!!

before starting
This was right after my uncle gave me the car and I had just pushed it into my parents garage (they were on vacation in cabbo at the time).

turbo swap
I am new to these forums, and I just wanted to say thanks to all the people that did all the footwork for the info I was looking for. Within 5 minutes of joining these boards, i found Drax240z's Turbo / Supercharger - The Ultimate Turbo FAQ/Beginners Guide, and it was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again! Wayne
