    is that steve's car?
  3. welcome back vicky!! i agree; the L28 can be seen as the final evolution of the L24. similar to how the heads have evolved...

haha, as a matter of fact when i was planning on selling the Z i was looking at the EXACT SAME CARS! the veloce is NOCE. it's basically a duetto with different bumpers. i <3 them.
  5. an update - the MSA 6-1 header fits PERFECTLY. the only adjustements i needed to do upon test fitting was bend the 2 extreme edges of the heat shield out about 1/4". otherwise, PERFECT

  7. thanks arne, you're a lifesaver
  8. carl, i gathered the same thing you did at first regarding the "size" of the engines. but after a simple calculation i realized he was talking an increase in displacement. the L28 has about 14.28% more displacement than the L24. at least i am guessing that is what he mean.... Jason
  9. quick q in addition to this - does this apply to ALL 240zs? because i was going to swap in a 15/16" master from a ZX. do i have to replace all the lines to get proper balance? if that's the case, does anyone wanna buy a ZX MC?

could be the slave, could be the rubber hose that connects them, could be the pressure plate, could be something else mechanical. bleed the lines again. what fluid are you using? are there any leaks?

  20. hello all! i've read where a few people have had interference with the MSA header on the stock SU manifold. but all of them that i have seen this issue on (madkaw and marty rogan) were the 6-2-1 header; whereas i have the 6-1 header. does the intake interfere on the 6-1 header as well? also, if i do decide to grind down the coolant passageways, will i have to weld anything? or is it just grinding? one more question, how are you guys mounting your return springs if you aren't running the heat shield? thanks guys, Jason

  23. yes, i do. my car has a L28 w/ flat tops, and i can imagine even with lower CR it would still haul buns. i'm running roundtops, btw
  24. bummer.... but that's great you got the new block! i really hope mine isn't cracked; i can't afford a new block
  25. any idea on what had caused that? i'm in the process of replacing head/head gasket in my car, and i would hate to find out that my beloved F54 is cracked....
