  8. follow the hose down to the transmission. if you're under the car on the (US) passenger side, you should see it attached to the transmission.

  16. check the level in your clutch master; it's right next to the brake master. if it's low or empty, have a friend pour some in while you bleed the system. PITA, but that's what it sounds like it is

sounds like an awfully convoluted manifold!
  19. maybe check the continuity of the wires connected to the alternator/ voltage regulator. also check for corrosion on them.
  20. it's doable and people have done it. try a quick search on power steering and you should come up with a few threads with people that have don this mod.

I've had my Autometer autogage 5" tach in the dash for the past couple of months and have had this issue since i installed it. the tach has an intermittant problem under 2K rpm. it usually jumps around between idle and 3K anytime i'm under 2K. i've dealt with it though since i am rarely under 2K rpm. i thought that it was normal for an aftermarket tach, but then i installed a 3 3/4 sunpro in the wife's 510 and it works flawlessly. the reason i installed this tach in the first place was because the stock tach would only rev to around 3K rpm... very odd. i attributed it to the fact that it has a 280ZX electronic dizzy in it. anyway, what could be causing this? is it possibly a defective tach, or am i missing something? i should also add that when i have my lights on it usually acts ok, but when i turn my turn signals on the needle bounces along with the blinking.

it seems that 80% stick with either the original colour or go to flat black. i prefer the stock colour, although my car is currently flat black

  25. have you pulled the fuel lines to make sure that you're actually getting gas to the carbs? also, try putting a little oil in your cylinders. you might have washed your cylinder walls and may not be getting compression.
