fan goes into radiator
correct, yet not all electric fans fit. the thinner ones DO work, but a good amount are too thick.

How Stuff Works Website
not too shabby. i see the controverisal mention ov von Goertz in there, and also erroneous information about the standard transmission, but overall a decently written article and @ zoidberg

there are tons of options around that price. you can actually find a pretty decent one for that. what work are you willing to put into it for it to be a daily driver? i'm assuming that's what you want it for, right? what areas of auto work are your forte?

stop light fuse box problem.
^agreed. make an investment in dave's headlight relay upgrade. but i'm willing to bet on the fact that there is some corrosion behind the fuse panel, even if it's not visible. seriously, solder that little round part to the larger part. if i had pics i would show you.

^or the electric fans being fitted were too thick. IIRC, even the popular taurus fan swap is too thick to be used with the L6

stop light fuse box problem.
i had a similar problem; these fuse boxes are common areas of anguish anyway, it turned out that the heat was caused by resistance in the connector. i flipped over the fuse box, cleaned all of the connectors, and soldered the junction point of the fuse connector (if that makes any sense to you)

Steering Rack bushings . . .
once they're on there, you'll prob have about 1/2" between the 2 ends. you will have to torque them down to get them to squish. oh, and it feels MUCH nicer with those bushings in there. SOLID feel.

Anyone have a set of these Spinners?
^are you in SD?

Anyone have a set of these Spinners?
the fact that they are screw-on is a dead giveaway as to why the passenger side is falling off! as you accelerate forward, the driver's side spinners are getting tighter. the exact opposite is true for the passenger side. to prevent this from happening again, use something like a thread locker to keep them on the wheels. my $0.02
