  1. i hope i'm not one....
  2. yes, i have stolen things from junkyards. i can only think of one thing, though.... it was a cadillac hood ornament of all things . anyway, stealing is bad! i'm not trying to get on your case, but i think that the right thing for you to do is go back there and give them some money. it's not going to make it completely better, but stealing is stealing. i don't like it when people steal from me, and I hold myself to high moral standards. i DO NOT steal from people. but that's just me. you're not me
  3. IIRC, the throwout bearing only makes noise if the clutch is disengaged, when it is depressed. i believe it to be the input shaft bearing based on this assumption. my car does the same thing, so if that's NOT the answer.....
  4. just so there's no confusion, his car IS LHD.... just making sure
  5. ya, i've heard that from a few people already...
  6. i'm sure it is. you would want to drill a pilot hole first of course, so that the screws don't crack the 'glass... someone who has first hand experience can chime in anytime.....

  8. IIRC, the fibreglass buckets are correct for your year. i personally like the fibreglass ones better, because for me it's easier to patch FG than it is to pound out metal

i think you may experience some clearance problems with these as they were designed for RHD vehicles...... very nice nonetheless

looks very nice..... my '84 325e (5speed) had some problems, but that was due to poor maintenance (and 250K+ mi!) nice cars overall, but if i could do it again, i'd wait it out and get me a 325i
  12. ^that's a negative. this thread started before rota made the RB

just pay the fine. i know in places like california you can't have ANY window tint on the front 3 (or 5 if you have wing windows......), with the exception of a thin strip at the top of the windscreen the reason they do this is not to harass or cause problems, it's for the safety of the officer. imagine you were the cop and pulled someone over, and can't see anything that's going on in the passenger compartment... pretty scary, huh? anyway, is it a fix-it ticket? if so, just take out the tint and pay the fee. my dos pesos

i saw that and realized that the program was much earlier; i was thinking maybe the dealers knew the 350Z was coming? but then 6 years advance notice does seem like a lot...

it's not the relay clicking. it's the starter. sounds like your starter's going out
  24. they air horns will go UNDER the filter. i'm sure someone has a pic.... they improve performance. glad to hear you got it started!
  25. how sure are you that the fuel pump works? do you have enough fuel in the tank? do you smell gas? chances are that somewhere you disconnected a hose/line fron the fuel tank. go to the fuel tank and check all of the hoses, especially the 2 that come out near the fuel level sender. also, you're going to be losing some power by not having air horns on them there SUs.... pick some up from MSA or cannibalize a stock back..... my $0.02
