  8. so a 3-leg puller will work? i was reading in an older thread (ca. 2004) that these can damage the pulley. if that is not the case, then YAY!
  9. didn't want to hijack stephen's thread, but i am having an issue with removing the crankshaft pulley the bolts that came with the pepboys puller i bought are the wrong size, and i was wondering if anyone had any advice on where to find the right puller or what size bolts to use... anyone? yes, the roundports are SMALLER than the square ports. soo...... a square header will work ok on a round port head, but not the other way around

wow, looks to be in very clean, workable condition!
  13. i think i saw a little bit o' rust on the battery tray..... but otherwise, if there is minimal rust and the frame is solid (i guess the 2 are related....) GO FOR IT! sounds like not too shabby a price, especially with the triples....
  14. the fuel lines go to the nipples on the banjo fittings. the only vacuum lines that i have hooked up are the ones to the float bowls, the one to the brakes, the vacuum advance line, and the block vent hose thing (not the PCV, although it will be hooked up soon) as for the linkage you can get them from Ztherapy.
  15. not mine, but here's the link http://sandiego.craigslist.org/pts/351436060.html

73 is smog exempt. you do not need the smog holes (it looks like yours were filled anyway) there have been clearance issues with the 3-2 header and SU intake manifold in the past. not sure if it's fixed, but just something to watch out for

  24. posted a question over on hybridz looking for pad replacement options for the toyota 4x4 caliper upgrade. from what i gather, porterfields seem to be the best available setup specifically for those calipers. HOWEVER, i did get this reply: "you can use pads from a Nissan 180SX or 200SX with very little mods all so the pads from a WRX will fit so you can get Performance pads to suit and they will go into Hilux 4x4 caliber" can anyone confirm/deny this? this opens up a whole new world of performance if this is true....
  25. not to hijack your thread, but what is the part number for those EBC greens?
