absolutely! z's are fun in their own territory. that's not always doing burnouts, etc. while the guy in his camaro is sitting doing burnouts you're already 1/4 mile ahead of him carving canyons!

depends on if you want to do it yourself or want it professionally done. i haven't rebuilt my L yet, so i can't give you hard numbers. to get things done right i'd say 1000 (someone chime in here) but then you'd have a very reliable and powerful motor...

CHECK FOR RUST! it might have great paint, but there are some sneaky rust spots that you will kick yourself for. check the floorpans, battery tray, and right inside the hatch area. anyway, i recommend keeping the 2.6L unless you're going just for performance.
