I was hoping for a 240K, a $70 "girlfriend" and a bottle of vodka, but I only ended up with a Toblerone, some new threads and a matching pair of flat CRTs. Oh well

Heh, no I didn't bother chasing up the coupe with the Chrysler 360. I figured that it wouldn't be worth the hassel transporting it to Sydney. Plus, I'd hate to see how they squeezed that cast iron block into the engine bay.

G'Day, Since there are quite a few of us looking for a nice C110 to call their own, I thought that a thread to consolidate for sale posts into would be helpfull. Obviously if a member wishes to sell their own example, a thread of their own would be appropraite, as discussion may ensue. However, for examples advertised externally, I though a thread like this may be helpfull.

I'm after a Hardtop only. Preferably manual, but I can put up with auto untill I build up a RB24DE stroker Condition wise... well Ideally I want a car with no rust. I'm not to phased about paint, as I'll be stripping her back and having her resprayed. I wont be doing a body off restoration. Just removing what panels I can, and masking up the rest :/ I'd like all the lenses anbd trim items to be intact. The interior covering is no biggy, as that'll be redone aswell. Preferably mechanically sound, but I've become qute knowledgable working on my kingswood, and I'm allways willing to learn. I've been given a old 202 to strip down and rebuild as an educational excercise. My old man is a mechanic and plenty of my friends are aswell. Any GTR replica goodies are a bonus. I would consider shipping one over from NZ. I have familly in Auckland, but I would rather source a local one. Back to scanning the tradingpost and ebay 4 times a day...

'lo all. After lots of saving, I'm now in the market for a C110 Coupe. Preferably White I'll be working heaps over these uni holidays, so i'll' be able to afford all the goodies I want. Well, 1 hour to go. I'm out of the auction. I just can't afford to purchase this car, and then get it the way I want right now Looks like it's Cortina or Val Hardtop country for me I hope some one here gives her a nice home.

I'm located in Sydney. I'm about to give the seller a call. I'll post anything interesting. Hopefully I'll be able to check out the car this week end. I'm trying to decide wether to purchase this 240K, a MK1 Cortina in Albury, a 68 Alfa Romeo GT or VF Valiant Hardtop. I've been offered some excellent examples of the latter three at great prices recently. It suck's being a relatively poor uni student. Especially when you've got a taste for rare and cool classics...
