  1. No, they will not fit. There were three models of window regulators. 70-73, 74-76 and 77-78. I went through that problem with my early 74 260Z. Maybe if the doors are identical, in lenght that is, you could swap the whole door. Cheers,
  2. Two thumbs up, its a beauty.

That looks like an adapter for your tachometer. Sometime necessary when installing MSD-6.

Hi Guys, I have a couple of questions regarding production dates. What month/year did the Datsun Z change to the inflatable spare tire? And, would a 73 gas tank fit a 74 2+2 body? Regards, Ari
  8. Here are a couple of pictures I have of a 2000gt. I do not remember were I got them from. Enjoy.

I think part D are turn signal lights. They fit in the front grill from mid 74-78 models.

  14. You have to remove the molding from the top of the door skin. The molding is chrome with a rubber strip, it looks like a squeegy. The roller clips onto the lip, and then put back the molding. I hope it helps you. Cheers, Ari

Hi ZSaint, I was thinking of just shaving the edge of the piston, almost making it flat. What crank and con/rod are you using? I have a stock L28 crank with 240 con/rod. Cheers, Ari
  18. My fav would be this one, I've seen it at a local Ferrari dealer and it looks amazing. V8 twin Turbo.

Hi 240z327, It's simple. You need the front hubs from a 85-87 300zx and drill the rear flange for a 5x4.5 bolt pattern. The front offset will change buy about +3/4", I think. Cheers, Ari

Here is another approach. How about L28 dished pistons. According to Lengine program if I combine this piston with the L28crank/240rod combo the deck would end up being 2.730 above deck. Now, here is the approach. If I shave the piston let say 2.7 I would end up with the factory deck height, it would be like a raised pin height by 2.7, no? As for the compression it would depend, if buy shaving I end up flat or dished. Mperdue what do you think, would it work or I got it wrong? Ari

Thanks Mperdu. I was looking into this replacement thinking it would be a low cost alternative compare to ArizonaZ pistons which are designed for my crank/rod combo. Cheers, Ari

Hi guys Would the LZ22S piston be a good alternative for my L28 crank/240 rods combo? Piston specs: 87mm bore, 35mm pin height and 9.33cc dish = 8.3:1 same as a stock L28 but with a different rod/stroke ratio, also good for pump gas. It will be approx .5mm below deck, does it matter? Also, if I shave the piston flat would I increase or decrease compression? I'am thinking it might increase but since its below deck, thats were I get confused. Cheers, Ari
