Can I run a walbro 255 pump on a stock system, as a improvement on fuel delivery?????
  2. yes.. I see your point about the simplicity behind the stock ingnition. But, unfortunately the amount of gain you get in a smooth Idle, and high end Rmp power is considerable to stock points.
  3. That sounds really great!! But ken, you didn't say a price?? Any hints or guesses? give me something to work with! B.
  4. When you say kit... What will that include?? Any ideas on price yet?? Sweeet ride!
  5. are you going to be making a set up that you will offer for others in the futere.
  6. My Car Is 76'...... All Systems Are Completely Gone Through!! I Do Believe That The Tank Has The Baffles To Keep Fuel From Moving Away From The Pickup??? Noticed When I Was Autocrossing The Other Day, That When I Went Into A Hard Sustained Left Turn, It Would Cough When I Put My Foot Into It To Come Out Of It!!! (only Time It Does It!) Had A 1/2 Tank Of Gas Also.... First Time I Noticed It, I Thought It Was Because Of Having A Low Tank. So I Made Sure This Time To Have At Least Half Tank. My Concern: I Will Be Turbo Charging This Winter, And I Thought I Would Have No Issues With My Tank Due To F.i. Tank. I Cant Have Starving Issues Onces Turbo'd Or Else By-by Motor!!! Anyone Tell Me Your Thoughts

OK, I have all the basic knowledge of how the turbo system works, and how to incorperate it with my early Z.. BUT!!! One Part I just dont quite get......... "Timing". stock 76' is 8 deg. (+/- 2 )..... 81'-82' turbo 20 deg... and 83' is 24 deg. 1) Why would you Advance the timing on a turbo system??? 2) Can someone help me understand why with a system that you dont want detonation!!, would you have the spark start sooner?? 3) Is there something about the increased cylinder pressures that slows combustion??? or do I have something wrong in my thinking this out?? Any help appreciated, aZcarbum

zhadman, I will say I must agree with mike, Kitkos, and others... I think with a good clean product, a wiring harness for the ealry Z's, would probubly put you on the map!! No other company to my knowledge has this (unless custom made).. Giving much thought into this would be pretty exciting... It would be ideal to make a harness that can be used "generally" throughout the early Z's. (Excluding the F.I. of course).. general car harness!! lights, accessories... Another idea for you!!!!..........FUSE PANEL REPLACEMENTS FOR ALL YEARS! Besides the 240Z, there aren't to my knowledge, any replacement fuse panels ( ready to wire) other than custom for the 280Z's. I know I, and many others in my area would be interested in all these ideas. Brian K. aka: aZcarbum
