New Pictures!! Polished valve cover on! Which do you guys prefer?
Haha agreed! I have always liked that black painted look, but I think the polished one looks really great on your car. Plus it says "turbo" I mean how can you go wrong? You have one really sweet 280, I can't wait to see that G-nose.

I found "The One" for me! - Pictures
Great find, it looks awesome. I love that interior, such a cool color.

1982 280zx
This car may be far less sporting than the what it's based off of, but I think it's a great car. I'd love to have one, something alittle more warm in the winter, cooler in the summer. Haha, but don't get me wrong, I LOVE my 240 beasts

Brake Booster Rebuild
I have seen some on ebay lately for around maybe 40-60 dollars. I forget if they were re-built or brand new. Has anyone else seen these? I'm not sure if they're any good.

2 1970 240z for Sale in South Jersey, Must Sell
Haha, oh I won't say a word. That's pretty darn cool, if you can, you should buy it. Your work is really awesome. Any 240 is deserving of a second chance at life. Even one as rusted this.

MSA 280z.
That's pretty sweet, ZG flares aren't too common on 280's. I think they look great along with the big wheels because they sorta make the 5-mph bumpers look alittle smaller. Great paint too.

2 1970 240z for Sale in South Jersey, Must Sell
Hey Ed, I don't want to be nosey, but why do you want that parts car when you just got done with that superb beauty? Simply wondering. Ha, I'd be buying both right now if I lived closer, so maybe I understand.

V8 Convertible
I'd say a major con is that you're missing out on one great engine! I have never heard of someone putting an eight into a 240k before, I don't think I have seen a convertible either. Was the convertible factory?

put my eibachs on correctly this time
Same here, I have noticed that the front is generally higher. It makes the car look like it's ready to haul some serious arse. Your car looks great, and I love the zg flares.

HELP! whats wrong with my eibach springs?
Haha, happens to the best of us. About how hard would you say that job is, changing the springs and all? You have a very nice Z there, the wheels look great with that color.

What is the most attractive part of a Z?
It's totally the profile and that engine. Together it's the best thing ever.

This is why I speed!
Yes, but most everyone on the track is aware of the possible outcomes. There won't be a family of four driving in the opposite direction.

This is why I speed!
Stephen, am I the 17 year old that is defending speeding? I'll have to admit that I have gone out and driven my car hard, over the limit, I think alot of us have. Though speeding is a danger, I do make precautions. I make sure that I know the roads very well before I drive, and I always make it a point to drive early on a sunday or saturday. To be honest though, after reading what others have said, I'm much less inclined to drive in dangerous situations.

This is why I speed!
I don't really care about long straight roads, I don't drive a muscle car. I mean going fast in a straight line is okay, but there's so much more. The z can handle curves, and that's what it's all about. It generally takes a better driver too.

Lift doesn't fit
The one I was looking at had four wheels but the front ones were very close together. It didn't look so good. For about fifty dollars is there a better stand?
-
Lift doesn't fit
Thanks for the help, it's very much appreciated. I brought up the front of the car from the center, and slid the engine lift under. I, like ken, had to close my garage door to allow the lift to go up all the way. That baby came out no problem. I'm now in need of an engine stand, there was one at advance auto for about thirty, I don't know if it was any good. Anyways, thanks again. Here are some pics

Lift doesn't fit
I have come to the point in which I need to lift the engine out of my car. Everything is ready to go, all fluids drained, cables undone, ect. I have run into a problem, my engine lift will not fit under the car. The car is lowered and the long legs of the lift are too tall to fit under the suspension. If the car is on jackstands, it is tall enough, but the jackstands are in the way. Also, as it says in the wick humble book, the tires should be one the car, so I guess that rules out the jackstands. Is it possible to use the lift from the side of the car insted of the front? By placing the long arms on either side of the front wheel. If I could get replies soon that would help, I'm planning on getting it done when I get home from school. Thanks Guys

Hi Guys
I'm still not sure of the color. I have always been very fond of that lime yellow, It's terribly fun and exciting. It screams "the 70's" though, and I'm looking to build a more subtle car. I have been thinking along the lines of a dark green. But it's not set in stone. Thanks for the replies. Here are some pics of the pretty one.

Hi Guys
Hello everyone, I'm back from my summer disappearance. Music has always been my number one priority, so I really didn't have much time on my hands for my cars. I drove the orange car alot, but no work was done to her sister. I went back to school two weeks ago and honest to god, the second I walked in, I wanted to work on the car so bad. So I'm at it again, I cleaned out my garage, and it's like a fresh start. I have been all over the site for the past week or so, to shy to say anything, but I'm here. About my baby: she's totally gutted, and there are four things I still need to do. Remove that engine, remove gas tank, remove master cylinder and brake lines, and get that tar mat insulation out of the inside. After that I may do body work. If not I'll send it out to have body work and paint done. Okay I'm done!
