Gran turismo 4
trs- Ha! I got the white ZG on the first try! Its all about luck I guess. Has anyone been taking pictures? I have spent 1/3 of my time photographing my cars. The pictures look almost like real life, and often can be mistaken for the real thing! After the playing the game, I am dying to drive!

Gran turismo 4
I have a steering wheel. I think its a logitech but I am not really sure. I dont like using the steering wheel over the normal controlers. The worst part about the steering wheels is that you need to use two feet with the pedals. Most people use only one foot to drive an automatic. Maybe some are better than others.

Gran turismo 4
I have the game. It really is amazing, the graphics are so close to real life, and sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between the two. It is not nearly as fun as real life driving, but for a simulation most people can afford, its damn good. I am not getting fat playing the game, because I am a responsible person and I know when to stop. As for the generaton gap, It is not as big as you think. My dad is 46 and he plays as often as I do.

Odometer
Personally I would keep the original miles. I just think that a car has a life before restoration, ya know? If the car was yours originally, would you want to forget all the fun you had in it before the restoration? On the other hand, if the restoration is about 99% original down to the hub caps exhaust manifold ect., maybe it should be set to zero. Just my thoughts.

Z car on TV
I was watching Full House tonight and a Valvoline ad came on. My brother said, have you seen this before? (he must have) I said, no that I had not and I continued to watch. The add went like this: There is a guy who makes automotive art, and the ad shows him airbrushing something and painting a picture. The ad shows his studios and other stuff. All of a sudden WHAM!!! he is checking the oil on a beautiful orange 240z!!! I could not believe it!!! My heart actually raced! There was a great shot of the engine, and it ended with the guy standing in between his orange and white 240zs. He said something about how they were works of art, or something of that nature. I was stuned, and really happy. Has anyone seen this ad?

engine
With every passing week this engine looks better. This photo was taken after I degreased the engine for the first time in 32 years.

The family heirloom. This z is technically my Dad's, his first car, but he does not work on it. It is not restored, but a clean original.

My New Project
What is offset when speaking of wheels? I did not buy them, the original owner put them on. I do know that the fronts are 15x7 and the rears are 15x8.

Engine
Jim, it is an ITG unit from MSA. You can either buy them one for each carb, or one single unit like mine.
