Anyone have two black ones they can send me? Msa has them but i'd have to order more than those to justify the shipping cost. And that would just temp me to spend a whole lot of money Please save me from spending tons of money, i'm a poor college student

yeah I checked a few radioshack stores near me a few months ago and none of them carried it. I really would like to try it. EDIT: Just checked on that site. Says its in stock at 2 stores near me. Yay!

Awesome! Now I can set my clock and stereo for last time hopefully I posted on zcar.com about that fuse and it is the Dome light fuse. Good thing it isn't anything serious. But now at night it will be a little hard to see. An axe murderer could hide in my car and I would not realize it untill it was too late Thanks again!

All fuses, includeing the stereo amp fuse, removed and all links removed except for the alternator fusible link, draw is still ~.335. If I remove the alternator fusible link it drops to 0. So do I have an excessive draw after the alternator? I have an aftermarket stereo and 50watt amp. EDIT: I also have a 12disc cd changer.

Ok thank you very much! I should of tested this long ago. Power draw was close to 1 amp! I started pulling fuses/links and kept testing. I don't have a fuse box cover. Can anyone who has a '78 Z tell me what fuse is in the right column, second from the top? I took that fuse out and the draw went down to ~.335 amps. Thats 335milliamps right? So thats still too high?

What does this link do? Does it power all the accessories? Well I've been living with a drain on my battery when I turn the car off for a couple months now. If I remove that link the battery isn't drained. But if I leave it, the battery will be dead in like 12 hours. I'm about tired of having to remove that wire everytime I stop and putting it back on everytime I leave and having to reconfigure my stereo everytime too! I have a multimeter and with that wire connected I tryed to measure the amps running through it with the car off. I read 0. So this wire must provide power to the alternator? Then all the accesories draw their power through the alternator? But if there was a drain through the alternator wouldn't it still show up on that wire? Thanks for all your contributions.

"something tells me tonyD's little 2+2 wasnt stock." it wasn't. From the many posts he has made about it I have gathered that it had: K&N filter, 60mm AFM, 60mm TB, ported exhaust manifold, 2.5in exhaust, and drag radials. TonyD is a delusional fool. I think i'll spend some more time here. I can do without all the drama on Zcar.com.

these are not gay altezzas! They look exactly like stock but are white. You can keep your red brake lights. When I have my lights on, friends following me have told me it is very hard to see my turn signals flash. The white flash will be much more distinguishable. As for amber turn signals, I just don't like the look. You can also get them tinted any color you want so you can get the euro amber look for far less!. Hey all. See information here So this is my first drag race. It is a 4-speed. I would appreciate tips on stageing and what not. Also tune up tips and parts I should check before racing. I will do a valve adjust and change my spark plugs and wires. I may also change my headgasket. Also what are your opinions on tire pressure? I'm thinking i'll remove the front bumper and my passenger seat. Keep the rear bumper and louvers for the weight on the rear wheels? What should my launch strategy be? I've practiced once before, reved it high, floored it and dropped the clutch, I got a good bit of wheel spin which made me slower, but I don't recall how much gas I had in the tank. So should I go for a full tank of gas and do a hard launch for a possibly better 60ft time. Or do a softer launch without the bumper and louver and only 1/4 of a tank to pick up faster acceleration down the track?
