  4. Talk about bruised and battered!!! Had the Z out for a great 500 mile pre-Fall run this weekend and came back with a few crimps. Nothing major like a crash, but enough to make me smile as I effect the repairs. The laundry list: 1. new shifter pin bushings 2. temp sending unit blanks out. (thought I had discovered the secret to getting her to run cooler) 3. Threw off my wheel wieghts. Must have happened when I took that 500 series BMW to 120+mph. 4. Took some serious road spray to my newly restored grills. The good news... Had a blast whoopin the Beemer (no tickets) and with the new exhaust, it was a fumes-free trip. Luvin the end of the year runs..... Cat:beard:

Jim, As others have stated, Motorsport should have a box for you. Make sure though that you get a set of baffles for the speakers http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/ISEO-rgbtcspd/learningcenter/car/component_speakers_installation_guide.html?page=7. I have a MSA box in my Z with 6x9 Infiniti Kappas and neglected to install the baffles; talk about rattling the rear end!!! Went back and installed them and the sound is great - inside and outside the car. Good louck!! Cat:beard:

Ed, Thanks!! I went to the local Advanced Auto and found its - Its a very close match to the original paint color. Look for Duplicolor Truck, Van and SUV #T415 (BronzeMist). I also used a darker gray primer - Krylon RTA9205 (gray primer). After I broke the grill down, it took a while to blast and straighten the individual pieces but it was worth it. Cat:beard:

Just wanted to post a few shots of my grills after I refurbed them. Lots of blasting, straightening and careful re-assembly, but they are looking much better. Cat:beard:

Mushu, I seem to recall that when I saw the movie, the car appeared to be a 75/76 280Z by the bumpers. Cat:beard:
