hey guys...im back from zcar.com. those guys are giving me such poo poo cause im 18 and apartenly i built my z wrong. anywho, i reinstalled my old pulley, and it came apart. luckily i heard the noise, and stopped before it flew off. so now im getting a new one. problem is, the pulley almost welded itself to the crank. i got it off, hoever, there are a few marks on the very end of the crank, where metal from the pulley has attached itself to the crank i talked to Eddie Radatz, where i live, and he said hes seen it before, that all you do is get some sand paper and carefully sand the very tip of the crank down, where the metal is, and slide the new pulley back on. also get a new crank key, and put locktite on it when setting the key in to seat it correct. well jerks at zcar.com are saying i ruinied my entire car and i dont deserve it blah blah and that i need a new crank. what do yall think?

<a href="http://www.picturetrail.com/bubbleguinea">Clicky</a> thats her! shes painted with PPG Le mans sunset... $170 a quart, and my dad and i did all that! no orange peel or anything, its perfect...i forgot to sand the top of the rad. support, so we are redoing that however.... also, we are getting someone else to paint the body of the car. that was fun, but at the same time, i was high the whole time (no respirator, just a dust mask in the garage closed with fans and filters) and i dont want to screw the body up...im so excited! for some reason, this site wont let me upload pics, so i will do that later!

wait, beandip, did i do something wrong? or are you saying my first post was really deep? im confused....was i acting childish? i did a search on here and didnt find any posts about it, thats why i started a thread! ive made the choice to get a stage2. MSA said they would exchange it for me! a guy from zcar.com is going to come over and help me take out the cam..im not to apt to doing it myself!

what about thief repel device? that hasnt been said yet!

well shes going to be painted le mans sunset orange, so i figured the orange accent colors would look nice!!! thanks for the compliments...

ugh. i really didnt want to have to do this, but i guess i am. i called MSA and they said they would ship me out a stage 2 for no cost, and pick up the stage 3. hows that for customer service?

so wait, do we know where to get those washers? i have the same problem...but i just used them anyways..what if we cut a couple of washers in half...no. that wouldnt work.... hmmmm....

i could understand hooking up the cold start valve to operate at high RPMS when you hit a switch, but i think thats overkill!

make sure you drain the fluid out first! i made the mistake of not doing that, and when i was under the car helping the back of the tranny up when my dad was lifting the engine, i got a deluge of tranny oil in my face. and mouth. i do like the smell though...
