  1. I don't want to mislead anyone. The website that I posted previously is not mine; and I am in no way associated with it. I just posted the link as an example of a rotisserie that I liked and was planning to emulate for myself. I originally bought two stands (still in the box) until I saw what this guy did buying the third engine stand for the additional steel, to lengthen the uprights, etc... and making the rotisserie nice and neat, and professional looking. My restoration will take a couple of years... and in my humble opinion having a rotisserie (or any tool for that matter) that works well and looks good (read: looks like I know what I'm doing) is important because it will be in use for a couple of years, and I will have to look at it every time I go into the garage. Sorry if I mislead.
  2. While we're on the topic of rotisseries, I found this one made with three engine stands, (the third used for the additional steel to make the uprights taller). I think I would triangulate the uprights and use a single tube for the connecting piece at the bottom, but all in all a nice clean set up for about $120Can (what's that, $100US?) Does anyone have an opinion on its design. The link for the rotisserie is: http://www.m38jeepproject.com/Body%20Work%202.html BTW this is my first post, I have been a long time lurcher while I have been building my garage for my restoration. Garage is done and I'm ready to start picking all of your brains for hints and pointers to get this thing running!
