Is that some sort of bonnet ornament i see on the black c110 Michael? Looks fantasic though (-;

Yeah i should do, ive just got to be careful when cutting up the bodywork for them. Its much more difficult to install flares on a four door obviously because of the extra doors in the way but, it can be done. What do ya think of the colour on that car, not bad eh?

Ah many thanks Bruce! Now i understand all of what you have said, and ive nutted out mostly how to do it, but i have a few questions. Firstly, In the picture below of my current non electronic dizzy, there is obviously a pin on the side that leads to the coil. That is fine. However, my current dizzy only has one pin on its side, thus one wire connected which leads to the coil. My question is what wire am i going to use to plug into the pin that reads 'b' for battery on the new electronic dizzy? Its probably a simple soulotion but i cant see it at the moment. Hey, i guess if you cant find it you can always get a lense of me now . I was previously living a few houses down from a mate of mine, who had pretty much taken up half of his block [it was 1/4 acre!] and underneath his house with 1600/datsun gear...Hes building a 1600 rallycar in the near future if everything is on track. AH and btw, would you have that wiring diagram lying around for the electronic dizzy, im going to try and wire mine up this weekend - I collected a zx coil the other day for $10 so im set.

Welcome, i enjoyed hearing your plans. I think its interesting to hear what eveyone aims to do with their car - a fair few of us here seem to be going down the gtr replica path which is fantastic [id do it if i could], but its great youve decided to do your own thing a bit. This is off topic, but i think here is appropriate enough. I got hold of a c110 coupe's whole rear panel including lights assembly, with the intention of fitting it to my sedan...And to my horrow it doesnt fit...The studs on the light assemblies themselves dont line up with the holes in the sedan...so im not really sure what my options are, other than to go back to the original sedan setup...Any thoughs? [i will post pics soon]

Ah Gday Craig, Nice to hear about the circumstances of the sightings. I hope to make it up to landsdale wreckers at some stage, perhaps that broken down coupe you saw could be waiting there for me? I reckon there would have to be at least a couple of coupes left on wa roads. When i was at the wreckers in welshpool on monday, i had a chat to the proprietor in regards to k's in his premises. Just two years ago he had a sedan and a coupe, but they sat there for years without any attention, until he decided to send them to the crusher. I guess thats trhe way it works, not long after you throw something out, someone comes along asking after it... I bought my car out of the quokka acutally. Just when i was in the market for a new car [primarily a c110], and the first time i had bought the quokka in years, my k popped up...very coincidental (=

Interestingly Lachlan, despite my car being such a late build, it still displays the earliest style badges, except obviously reading 'Datsun' instead of 'Skyline.' That last style you mentioned is indeed from the later cars though...
