Ha!..I wondered where those front markers came from...then I found them at the local Canadian Tire in the Trailer lights section...they're so bad looking. It was the first thing I took off.

Thanks, 26TH Z. I take it then that all raised edges in the interior (around the defroster switch, around the outside of the console, etc) are painted silver then for consistency? I'm only asking because all mine are faded, I can tell it WAS once painted, but most of it is faded off.

I'm in for a set also. I'm in Canada..so if you can set up PayPal..that would be GREAT. If not, tell me what kind of money order exactly I need to send, and how much shipping is to Toronto area (L6A 2P7). Send me a PM or email I guess with the total. I just bought a new fusebox because the old one was melted. Great idea! Zak

Can anyone tell me what trim on this is supposed to be painted? I take it the letters, around the clear plastic...and what color white or silver?

tail light removal
remove the plastic trim, then unscrew those screws around the edges (i had to drill most out). Then push out. Its hard to get around the fuel lines..be careful. Remember wiring.
-
speedo removal
reach under, unscrew speedo cable, unscrew 2 butterfly nuts (catch them!) and wiggle it out. Remember where wires go.

Inside the defrost switch
This rocker was frozen..so I unscrewed it from the back, and pryed apart the plastic holder. Theres a spring in there, I stretched it and cleaned it now it works.

luggage straps
When I pulled the mat back, I found it still had the original luggage straps, and the original diamond vinyl is a keeper too.

Thanks for that info..I go to Buffalo NY alot and often have to ship stuff back to Canada, and only usually pay about 15%-25% more. I shouldnt have spoken for the rest of the U.S.. As far as Customs goes...I ALWAYS get charged extra here when I get my package..nobodys fault except my government. I am seriously thinking of using a friends U.S. address to get stuff shipped to and just picking it up when I go across. A co-worker restores old Chevy's and he says he saves a ton of money that way.
