NSW 240K 4 door on ebay
I don't expect to win it for $9.99, but I see two people have had a nibble today. The Hunter is very close to my shed a Morisset. Hum. I wouldn't mind a 4 door, but we shall see.

Anyone have a picture of paint code #168?
I think my blue car is metalic lavender. I will look at the code on the weekend. Your car looks a little different to the ones I have seen in Oz. They are normally a real blue colour or the same as mine. I have not seen your colour before, its a lot light and looks like a cross between both of the Oz colours.

I would be keen on a full set too. Possibly more pending prices. I also have a 240K_GT Door badge (new) which you could make a mould from if required. PS: the Coupe's coming along very well. Nice sound too. Is that a 2.5 inch or 3 inch pipe? Cheers, Bruce.

240K Coupe with GTR Parts
I think the rear panel is GT or GTX. If anyone needs some more of those rims, I have 3. Sorry to see it go. There are so hard to find and even harder to collect all the bits. Still, you have a few hits on the ebay page already. Good luck.

buying flares, grill etc
I have the 240L GT Door badge as shown in my logo. You can borrow that to take a mould from. I have just come back from Melbourne with a panelvan and trailer load of 240k bits. One is my original brand new Skyline Beaver panel. I shall have a look how hard it is to get the badges off. (Skyline & GTX2000) I think I already sent you pics of the 240K GT badge.

anyone got a spare ignition barrell/switch?
Hi Kent, Yes, still keen on the Oil Cooler. I still have that console for you too. Good news actually. I bought a weekender up in the Central Coast, so I'm off down to Melbourne in October to clean out my Factory and bring my 3 coupes up here. Which means I will finally get to start on them. The funny thing is that 2 of them originally started in NSW and I transported them down to Melbourne.

anyone got a spare ignition barrell/switch?
Kent, I have a steering column with a manual pedal box for a auto-manual conversion. There is a ignition switch with a key on it. Do you still have my phone number, give me a call. But, Have you tried hot wiring the car to see if it runs when effectively in the "on" position with the iginition switch bypassed?

Do a quick ring around Menzies Metals and other Bulk Metal merchanants just in chase someone saw it there and traded it for a quick $300 worth of steel. You never know. Ring up some local car collectors and find out where they take the cars for recycling. Good luck & be Quick !!!

buying flares, grill etc
I sent him pictures to look at which is what he quoted from. The prices seem fair and going back thru this post, they are actually cheaper. I'm keen for a set or two. Kid-K has kindly offered his flares for mould preparation. So the question is: Does anyone have a Grill, Front and Rear Spoiler to send down to Melbourne? The other option is to see if Challange would sell their moulds. Ben suggested it. I don't think Phil would be up for it. Is anyone on talking terms with Phil still?

buying flares, grill etc
Hi Guys, Ben came back with an offer regarding the bits. He will make the mould and pay for the freight for anyone suppling the parts to make the moulds from. Here is his starting prices: flares - $220 grill - $200 Bob tail - $120 Front Apron - $80 The grill would be without the steel backing. Your thoughts?

DO you have a picture of the light surrounds? Is it the black and crome part you are thinking of? Or the beaver panel itself? If its the crome bits, then we would have to find both sides to make a mould with mounting points. Does it look like any parts in the pitcure?

buying flares, grill etc
Guys, I think I have found a guy in Melbourne (well east of Pakenham) that already does Bedford van fibreglass work and wants to branch out. He's talking of doing Holden stuff. But I contacted him about creating a set of moulds and doing a run of about 10 to 15 sets for 240K owners. And he is keen. His prices for the Bedford bits seem cheap so I'm hoping for the same for us. As we have already been talking prices here, I don't want to point him here yet. Perhaps if we can come up with a list again over the next week. I can approach him with pictures and numbers of what we want and see what he comes up with. Here is the previous list. Post your additions or subtractions after this message And I will have a chat with him in a week. khughes: Grill x1 Location: Sydney soopakarr: Grill x1 Location: Brisvegas Mastadd: Front Apron x1 Location: Melbourne MiniMafia: Flairs x1 Set Grill x1 Front Lip x1 Bob Tail Spoiler x1 Location: Tasmania s13drifter: Front Apron x1 Bob Tail Spoiler x1 Location: Canberra 240K&Beyond: flares x2 sets Grill x2 Bob Tail Spoiler x1 Front Apron x1 Location: Syd ovenfood: PENDING PRICES Grill x1 Flairs x1 Front Apron x1 Bob Tail Spoiler x1 Location: Brisvegas Adzmax: Grill Flairs Bob Tail Front Spoiler Location: Melb N1GTR: PENDING PRICES Grill x2 Flairs x2 Bob Tail x2 Front Apron x2 Location: Syd Datstan: Grill x1 Flairs x1 Bob Tail x1 Front Spoiler x1 Location: Auckland Nz Requiemk: Flairs x1 Others pending Prices Location: Nz Kproject: Grill x1 Bob Tail x1 Front Apron x1 Location: S.A Mr Camouflage: Grill x1 Bob Tail x1 Front Apron x1 Location: Perth 240kconvertible: Front lip x 1 Grill x1 Bob tail x1 Of course, then we still have to problem of finding originals to make molds from. Again, perhaps the best discount can be offered to those suppling originals.

Hum, two more coats, then a light saturn red pearl clear over the top. I cannot say how much I appreciate the pictures and how much I miss my workshop.

Operation 240k
WoW, I like it very much. Thanks for the Pictures. I was thinking of doing mine up in Matt Black or possible gloss. I like the matt very much. The problem is that it shows every imperfection. Good Job on the 5 Studs too. The standard GTR rims don't look to much out of place either. If only it had a RB26 ;-)

Operation 240k
Wow That's a lot of work. It looks Good. It looks like you have taken the roof gutters off. Did you? If you did, once it's primmed, could you take some photos of them up close? It looks like you can fashion stell well. Are you going to try your hand at a front lip and rear spoiler? Anyway, it looks like it was a good save on your part.

rear guards for a coupe wanted
"Custom Steelworks Canberra" Why does this name ring a bell? By any Chance would this be Peter, Daniel's (s13drifter) father? Anyway, slightly off topic, but I wonder if they could punch out steel flares for GTR mock ups? With the numbers we have, it could be quite a money spinner. ;-)
