I had the same rims on my old '77 coupe. They're C210 mags from '78 onwards. From memory they are 5.5 inches wide 14's. PS: What is that hanging down at the front near the number plate on the drivers side? I cannot make it out.
  3. I must ask, what did you do?
  4. Check Out Ebay now: Item No: 280344280734

http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33462 In this forum, there is a picture of two rear panels, one standard, the other a GT style panel. This shows the normal two types of lights.

I have one, it's in my logo. At worst, we could have a cast made. But do a search for 240K on ebay. There is a guy in Kuwait that does all kinds of badges. He seems like a nice bloke to deal with. I bought one complete set of badges and he threw in another set for nics.
  9. Danny, Somewhere Alphadog printed the specs for the wheels. There was a discussion somewhere here. Have a poke around. Otherwise ask him directly (pm). In order to make them fit, you need to trim the metal guards down. Just remember if you are going to put bigger brakes on, them you need at least 15'' rims. Otherwise calipers tend not to fit. Especially on some rear disk conversions.
  10. WoW. 10 ish years ago, you could buy a L20a Turbo motor complete for $300. That's with all the oil lines, dump with oil drain from turbo, turbo cam cover, the lot. Boy I wish I had a few of them lying around now.
  11. Most people that have them, don't want to part with them. Or are still in the collection mode too. But always nice to welcome and meet new members Danny. ;-)

Bargin. That's a good pick up. Take Care of it and Enjoy. And AC as well. Sweet. The only down side to a 77 model is that you cannot remove the polution gear. Ie: change too many carbies and stuff. But you can still go Fuel injection. Or at the very least, throw an electronic dizzy in so it's easier to start and you will not have to change points again. As for the AM Radio, you are going to have some fun there as today's standard single DIN stereo is about 10mm wider than the console face.

Very nice ride. Is it a later 76-77 or the earler 72-73 model? Yes, It looks like it needs a new pipe out the rear. Oh, and I think your front side indicators are on backwards. Nice Pickup, I hope it didn't tax the wallet too much. Enjoy.

The Ugly (Green) has no drive line in it including no diff. So it's a bit hard to move around. It's the spare parts car. Oh, no interior either. Just a good solid shell. The Bad (Blue) is complete, original manual, but been used out on a farm in Wagga Wagga. It's still straight n rust free. So this is the one I will turn into a GTR mockup. I'll get everything right with this one first, prior to working on the final one. I'm still a fan of the L28. So I'm thinking supercharged-Turbo config. That should push it only nicely. It will be very sparse, lightened and only two seats. This boy is going to be the licenece loser. The Good (Yellow) is as straight as the day it rolled off the production line. Not even a crack in the dash. Previously owned by an old couple until the old fella passed on, it's been garaged all it's life and only driven to church on Sundays. I will probably keep this as a stock for as long as I can as it's such a great example. Or eventually it may mimic the blue one with all the trimmings. Built for show and not as much for go.

Andrew, to be honest, I don't know. I know I have one spare front Window, but I cannot remember if it's left or right. I have both rears with mounting hardware. I don't think I have mounting hardware for the front. Nor do I have any spare doors which would have what you need. The problem is that I'm in Sydney and my car's are stored in Melbourne. And I have not been down there in over 18 months. I keep looking for somewhere to use in Sydney, but have not found anywhere yet. So I keep looking at my photos of "The Good", 'The Bad" and "The Ugly" and dreamin`

A quick picture of a GTX Badge and Panel from Oz.
  17. I would be very interested to understand the pricing prior to placing orders with Phil. Maybe we can just order the Grills from Phil. There seems to be the numbers. If someone has one set of everything else for mould, then prices may be better. I know I would prefer CF flares. Not so keen on a CF bonnet. They are very strong and sharp. The very things you don't want in a head on collision. Especially if you wish to keep your head. Having said all that, can you emagine a Carbon Grill ;-)
  18. Sweeta. I'm still in for the list a page back. I would prefer to see pictures of the Grills with the mesh prior to coughing out an extra $110 per item. I will change my delivery location to a Melbourne pickup. My Cars are stored in Melbourne, so it does not make any sense to shipp them up to Sydney. Good Work on the chase up.
  19. Better ask Phil if he has flares for a 4 door as Noodle might need them.

Good Find, It looks in good shape too. I love the original 5 speed and you have the best console. You will find that the panel over the cassette area pops out to a smugglers compartment. (For those that need one !). I'm guessing the sun roof was an after market addition. I don't think I have ever seen one in a K before. Still, now you have two. Sweet.
  21. Canberra - Done, I'll take them if you can drop them around to my brother in a suburb there of. I'm in Sydney, So I shall have to make a special trip. Just to confirm, they are both 15s not a mix of 15s and 16s? (The Rears look like 16JJ) Are you sure the offest for the fronts are okay?
  22. Damn and expensive month !!! when is the order being sent?
  23. Where are you located? Oz or US?
  24. I ordered a complete set last time a never picked them up. You better put me down for: 2 sets of flares 2 grills 1 rear spoiler 1 front lip. To go to Sydney. Thanks.

Alfa, Didn't you end up selling yours ! I have not seen mine for almost two years. I'm still trying to work out how to get them and all the other bit up here in Sydney. Well $3.001K not a bad price. Does anyone know how got it ?
