The Kia rear door w/s is a bit longer than the front, and can be seamed below the threshold plate. The rear doors generally have experienced much less use than the fronts, therefore are usually in better condition. Keith
  2. Thank you. Keith

Rich, do you recall the manufacturer of the transfer stencil you used? Thanks, Keith
  9. David at MSA would only say they are sourced from Japan. He did sent me a photo of the Aftermarket heater hose and an OEM reducer hose. Pretty close! Keith
  10. I contacted them…they do not have a close-up photo of their hose which they will share, so I cannot determine if their hoses “braid” matches OEM. Keith
  11. Is this the same set that is offered by the TheZStore (MSA)? https://www.thezstore.com/product/4904/oem-style-braided-heater-hose-set-70-72-240z Thanks, Keith
  12. Here is a pair of seat side brackets: Keith
  13. You do not need to replace the entire seat back and bottom, just obtain LH side brackets and sliders. (Note, the seat belt hook mounting screw hole would have to be drilled in the left (outer) side of the seat back.) Keith
  14. Looks good. Did you install the clear plastic protector between the seat side brackets and the upholstery? Keith
  15. Consider a Black Acid Neutralizing Mat (Link) to save potential future corrosion damage. Keith

Would anyone please post a close-up photo of the texture of one of the jdm-car-parts.com reproduction hoses. All their photos of the reproduction hoses do not show the weave texture. The OEM sold via jdm-car-parts.com and MSA have a wider weave. Resurrected Classics hose close-up photo of the texture on the website have tight weave: Thanks, Keith
  18. SteveJ Please post a Resurrected Classics hose close-up photo of the texture of one of the hoses next time you visit the Z. The stock photos on the website have tight weave: The OEM sold via jdm-car-parts.com and MSA have a wider weave. Thanks, Keith
  19. Johnz1971 Did you purchased the Resurrected Classics Braided hose kit? How does the appearance and texture compare to original OEM braided hoses? Thanks, Keith

Search Group 24F….Costco and Walmart are readily available, Yuasa and Nissan OEM are harder to source. Keith
  24. Yikes, locating DOT approved 175R14 or 175/80R14 tires is a chore. So far these are the options: Radar Dimax Classic 175R14 88H BSW Dunlop Sport Classic | 175/80R14 88H Michelin XAS | 175HR14 88H Vredestein Sprint Classic 175HR14 Nankang NA-1 175/80R14 The choices 10 years ago were much more varied. The vehicles that used this size as OEM were: 1967-72 Mercedes-Benz (W114/ W115) 1980-83 Mercedes-Benz 240D (OE with 175R14) 1980-85 Peugeot 505 Sedan (OE with 175SR14) 1980 Toyota Celica Supra (OE with 175R14) 1981-86 Toyota Celica ST (OE with 175SR14) 1980-82 Toyota Corona DLX,LE (OE with 175R14) 1980-84 Volvo 242 DL (OE with 175SR14) 1980-85 Volvo 244 DL (OE with 175SR14) As the above models became scrapped the demand for the tire size shrunk. The hunt continues. Keith
  25. Specing out tires for spring of 2024.
