  1. dont bring that Zcar BS attitude here PLEASE... thats why you got banned in the first place... I aint got anything against ya, but tone it down.
  2. I would say Tokico, but since you have Konis on the back , why not get the same for the front? You should be set since you have the springs already. Besides suspension, work on the brakes as well... get yourself some new vented rotors (slotted crossdrilled like to crack with extended wear is what I have read doing research). and toyota 4x4 calipers, some carbon metallic brake pads and stainles steel brake hoses. I also recommend picking up a good front sway bar, the stock rear one will do you fine. I think Victoria British carries the biggest front sway bar you can buy, you might wanna check it out. The MSA kit is pretty good too. You may want to convert the rear to disc if you have the money, otherwise just invest in drums and new brake shoes. I hope this helps you as far as brakes and suspension goes!

I am just trying to keep the original 70's flavor... no fancey modernized body kits or the like... I like the lines just the way they are...
  4. Hey guys, looks like I'm getting very close to body repair and paint, I just need one more patch panel and a hood and I will be set... I'm looking to convert my OEM chrome trim to all black... (including the rear) and I have been searching for pictures of S30 Zeds with this done... Also, I am open to any tips for painting you guys might have. I have read that the chrome is rather hard to strip and paint.. Aeronaughtical paint has been recommended to me for this task... I've also heard of "black chrome" but It is rather expensive... thanks ladies and gents. -Zzzap

Well, I have had this problem since I purchased my 280Z back in November, and I am finally getting a chance to pull the dash and check out the wiring for my three right hand gauges.... See.. the gauges work fine... but the lights like to come on and off frequently... its rather odd and doesn't help at all at night... What I really want to know of is just anything I should look for when I pull the dash... any specific wires or what have you that could be causing my problems... thanks a ton everyone! -ZZZap

First off, welcome! And yes this site is really oriented with the S30 Zeds... you might want to look for one of those possibly? hehe just a sales pitch , if you like the ZX more power to ya, after all it is still a Z car... I have a 77 280Z and I must say, I love the S30 Zeds alot better than newer ones... just a preference however good luck withy your 2+2!
  11. Well it seemed tightly in place, I will double check. I am waiting for the engine to cool down some.
  12. I was checking out some antifreeze leaks on my 280Z and noticed this in the pic.... the #6 hole has some sort of burnt material around it, poillibly a leak of somesort, its not black but more of a brown color, the rest of the plug entrys are clean as a whistle... Could it be a dead cylinder (I do not know exsactly what the prerequisites are for this proplem)? Any help would be highly appreciated...
  13. Well, I just wanted to share it with everyone who requested drawings and pics. didn't think it would drift off the line so far... oh well
  14. thats understandable, but I would think that it would flow alot better than the old rusty stock exhaust I had before. I dunno, maybe I should have had them do it a different way...
  15. well, this was my solution until I could afford a better muffler... I was thinking of maybe a 30 series, they have a different sound than most flowmasters... they're only 80$
