I hate the big crash bumpers on my 280, I truly do...

Well, the shave is more of an integrated look I suppose, and looks more like the arse end of a vette... I have thought of shaving my 280 rearend, but I worry about someone hitting me in the back and causing damage and then the insurance adjuster seeing theres no bumper..

If that is from a california model, then why does my 280Z that is from Georgia have it? Or did my car come from Cali? this is puzzleing

I just wrote this tonight, hope you guys like it! It is just something showing my appreciation for the Z.. gotta love these boring nights... Datsun Z Can you see the road a turnin? hear that engine churnin? That ol vinal smells so good, as I look over that long hood... I throw it into 3rd and pull... The engine's raging like a bull... aint no sun in my eyes... Now the road is mine... In and out the curves I go... This old car goes to show... that oldschool is hard to beat, on the strip and in the street... 2...40, 60, 80 we call em for short these vehicles of class and sport... they will always and forever be... the one and only... Datsun Z!

Beautiful! I almost got a 72 240Z, it needed the interior put back in it and was Sunset Orange... somethin tells me I shoulda got it but OH WELL! I have a 77 280Z, and I tell ya whether its a 240, 260, or 280... you'll have fun!

I have done a search, but what I am specifically looking for is what grit sandpaper to use and maybe any tips you guys have to offer. I'm replacing the pcv valve and valve cover gasket tomorrow, decided to go ahead and do this so I have will more to fill my day off..

The stock ecu cannot handle additional airflow and fuel by use of bigger throttlebody and turbo injectors.... you need independantly controlled EFI system(Megasquirt or equivalent).

Ok, i think I found the name for it finally, BPT valve, the question is, if the end of this is not connected, what goes on within my vaccum system? I have yet to check if it has suction, it is cold and its dark on the eastcoast. I have considerd this also the possible cause of my richness I suffer from...

I have been searching and trying to find out what this device is... I have looked through online tech info and my FSM and EFI bible, and I can't figure it out.. what ever it is, its not connected to anything... its the object on the left that has a wire going to it and is a cylinder type shape...

I have been driving my 280Z daily for over a month now and have put less than 1k miles on her so far, but I need to start working on her and getting down to business on my project... so I have decided to find a cheap ride for now, Ive found a 1973 Datsun 620 Pickup in the trader for 600$ obo, I have to check it out but I LOVE the looks of these trucks, it'll make for a good get around auto while I save and build my 280.. just thought this might be cool to tell everyone how everything is workin out for me -Jared

Well, I just noticed this recently, ocassionally when I start my 280Z, it will idle at 650-700 instead of the 900-1000 that I have it set at, the engine kindof "rumbles" and creates a bouncing inside the cockpit... I was just curious as to what sort of symtoms these were, it is quite strange. It is EFI sensor related no doubt...
