hey khughes the intercooler is 24x12x3 (core size) overall its about 30-31 inches wide tank to tank. yea its going to be used for the 240k, since ill have so much room in the engine bay i may able to do the "v mount" drift setup with the intercooler and radiator. ill be ordering the griffen alum. radiator pretty soon. mikey

only problem for me is that i have a 73 skyline, its a little different than the 240z, i had mock up a rear bridge to bolt a seat rail onto it. now just need seat rails and racks. thanks for the info mikey

hello all my 73 coupe when i bought it came with no side door windows or 1/4 side glass as well for both sides, can anyone tell me if the side windows a straight or do they have a slight bow, i dont know where else to get the side windows since i live in the united states, i have no access here to get the parts. i was thinking of making all side glass of scratch resistant lexan, same one used for race cars but i wanted to adapt a rail with the custom windows. if anyone has any ideas on what i can do please feel free to let your mind run wild i appreciate all your help. or if theres anyone who has any glass they want to sell please let me know, condition is not a factor for me, prefer no cracks but ill take what i can get. i have no access to junkyard parts here since the car never made it here in the states, thank you for your time mikey ps or if anyone has a spare center console i dont care what model or condition cracks are welcome, i can fix with fiberglass or whatever just as long as it can fit my 73 coupe please email me your price, im trying to complete the car as much as i can. thanks again

i finally bought my seats i ended up going with the old recaro style....i think it will look and feel nice. ill be also picking up my tein camber plates and fitting the sr20det motor next month ill post pics of the progress mikey

how much will the rails and brackets cost. i live in the US so shipping might be a factor, i just bought a pair of old recaro seats with the mesh headrests for my 73 c110, let me know thanks mikey

the factory nissan headlight covers are made of glass my friend has a set at the house but never put them on, i can ask them how they fit. they are to valuable to put on and drive around since they are no longer available or atleast hard to find. i say the lexan covers are fine unless your a datsun purist, good luck looking finding a set mikey

i was just curious, i read in the beginning of the thread that the 240z,280z has a different offset than the 240K when it comes to brakes....well if i were to buy the disc brake adaptors for a 240z/280z would i be able compensate for the different offset by adding or subtracting metal from the adaptor to make it work with my car? the adaptors you are making to fit r30/r31 brakes it may be hard for my to get rotors/calipers for i live in the states and we dont have DR30 skylines here. so i was thinking of buying a pair of Datsun 240z rear disc brake adaptors and modifying them to work with my 240K. would it be a waste of my time doing this or do you guys think it might work. i can weld, drill or lathe the adaptors if i have to but just wondering if it would be to much work and not worth doing. i was thiking of the disc brake adaptors to work with 240sx calipers. heres the link of the adaptors i might try to modify to fit the 240K http://www.modern-motorsports.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=8 thanks mikey

Hey 240k yea if you have time sure id like to know how the 32 fronts will fit in the 240k, if you know anyone with pictures of the 32 fronts in a 240k id love to see them, im just worried it wont look right in my car. the fishnet recaros seem to fit the look of the car better, most of the japanese 240k gtr in my magazine ran fish net recaros. i love the fit of the 32 fronts, they hug very well and feel very comfortable and the fishnet recaros in my opinion makes the car look more classic old race. it should be a very easy decision for me to make on what seat i should use but im to picky...hehehe thank you all for your opinions. i guess i just need to see how a 32 front seat would look in the 240k to finish my decision since ive seen many fishnet recaros in my magazine. mikey

the R32 gtr seats are pretty pricey, on the website they are about $850 for the pair but im sure he'll give me a deal. the Recaros are around the same price he told me maybe a tad cheaper but hes going back to japan this sunday and will be looking for more seats and parts. he'll be back in a month. if your still interested in the seats let me know i can try talking to him this weekend before he leaves. i can still get the seats anytime just have to go through his uncles bodyshop to get them when he leaves. they feel so good i want tham but in the end ill be wanting the oldstyle Recaros more you can email me at mikeseez@cox.net anytime thanks mikey

im jus posting this for opinions, these two seats are very nice and priced the same, well today i sat in the R32 GTR seats and they feel GREAT!, they hug your body well and not on the hard side, the Recaros they havent came in yet but i like the look of the Recaros. they give my car that Nostalgic look to it. im pretty sure ill be getting the Recaros but jus wondering if you seen any C110's with R32 GTR seats in them and if you have any pictures please feel free to post. thanks mikey

hey leon let me know your price. ive bought 240k fender mirrors that lachlan had spares of. so you can ask him, im good for it. if anythin, if you have pictures of your 240k gas cap i would like to see how it is so i can try to make the missing piece myself or if its to hard ill end up buying yours. Lachlan if you ever get a chance to go the body shop to check out your car, would you be kind and snap a few photos of the backside of your cap, it will be greatly appreciated. as for update on my car, the sr20det is now at my friends shop, my intercooler just came in today, its core size is 24x12x3. i sent out my ECU to get reprogrammed in canada so hopefully with all the parts im buying i will be able to get the car on the dyno and get about 400rwhp. im hoping next month we can start on the engine bay and body work. i havent found time to get working on it, but as soon i get some work done ill be sure to take photos and keep updating my progress. thanks mikey

time for aluminum radiator lach!!! im going to get a 22x19 aluminum griffen radiator when im ready to buy it...its about $208 shipped US money, i think thats a great price for what you get. im not sure what material your radiator but im guessing cooper or brass, pretty much im guess they are going to weld the leak shut with special copper or brass rods. i have an extra nissan 280z radiator if you want it but i think its cheaper to get it fixed, not sure what shiiping would be towards your way but if you want it let me know. im getting my aluminum radiator at www.summitracing.com mikey

after visiting my favorite bodyshop i walked up to the driveway and there she was, an old 1952 chevy sitting, i had to ask the bodyshop owner for what color that car was painted, i immediately got a quart ordered so i can start with the engine bay. i cant wait to do the rest of the car when im all down, hope you like my choice, its a ice mist blue color, i enclosed a couple pics mikey BTW/// THANK YOU LACHLAN aka alfadog for the fender mirrors and rear 1/4 badge, now the exterior of my car is complete, i have everything. wish i could say the same for the interior...oh well you win some you lose some CHEERS!

wow what a huge lip on those watanabes you got there! you can see the size compared to the wd40 can, i thought i had a huge lip, i have 15x10 and 15x8.5 on my c110

hmmm 225 rubber with +12 offset might rub...i have a set of 15x7 zero offset enkei's right now and was pretty close. if interested i might sell my set of enkeis, has a very nice lip, deep dish...popular on many old cars. mike

heres a few pics underneath my car so you can see how the flares were put on GAV: yea the gnose i acquired is a 5 piece fiberglass unit believe it or not was picked up at a junkyard. i got lucky with it, it had many broken pieces but since it was fiberglass is was a bit of a easy fix. yes im also a member of zdriver, the moderator is a good friend of mine. Lach: ill be awaiting your email man i wish my c110 was as complete as the ones you guys own, im having so much trouble finding parts for the car and at a decent price at that. oh well just as long as i have the car im happy, now only if i can find the front bumper turn lights, a driver side rear 1/4 panel round vent emblem and center console ill be a happy man...cheers! mikey btw the flares on the other pic is very wide....anyone know wheres those came from or possible custom set?

hey bruce ah if i would have known you needed a turbo oil line i would have gave you mine, i gave it away when i sold my L motor, if i come across another one ill PM you. as the the SR20 motor..ITS HERE!!! too bad my car isnt ready for the motor, i still have to repaint and clean up the engine bay still...once im done with that ill be sending the car for a new heart.... does anyone know the paint code for the original color white? i was thinking of painting the car white using the pain code for a 1971 datsun 240z...if anyone knows what the code is for a 1973 240k/skyline please let me know so i can buy some paint...thanks all for the support i would post pics but im not sure how to...if anyone can explain of r me how to type in java script or how to post a pic ill post pics of the flares underneath. mike
