I have a couple sets of these lights. They were a tremendous improvement of the stock system at the time but old technology today. The actual bulbs are removable from the back of the unit I don't know if anyone makes replacement bulbs with todays technology. JLP
  4. Just got off the phone with "FRANK" he is not as computer savvy as his wife so he has had her post on our site for him. That question answered. He and his wife are a touch older than me and purchased their Series 1 Z new. He has done quite of bit of work on it himself using the factory service manual. He is having continuing problems with stumble upon acceleration. His wife posted their number thinking it was going only to the member which requested it. I explained the PM system. Frank is going to post his questions to me and I will relay them to this thread. Hopefully this answers all the questions and we can help out a fellow life long "Z" lover:love:. jlp

  8. If he was a spammer or just another "Z" Lover we have probably scared him off by now. I guess, as I said, I am naive. I tend to accept face value until proven otherwise. It has gotten me burned a few times but I still believe it to be the correct approach. "Just my 2 cents". JLP (OLD SCHOOL)
  9. Ok, I somewhat understand. I must be very naive to the spam angle. I just accepted it for face value of another "Z" lover. But I have seen other post on the site with seemingly ulterior motives. Thanks JLP

  17. Lowes has a variety of swages that can be purchased in bags of 5, very inexpensive. They sell the tool for under $40 but due to them not having a tool in stock they sold me their display tool for $8.00. Timing is everything!!
