Another Noob!
I'm probably gonna take some more pics this afternoon. Mostly of the shop where I work so you get an idea of goes on there. It's a "Hobby Shop" on a military base but there's alot of cool stuff going on there like two frame-off restos on a 69 Camaro and a 69 Firebird, a nearly complete 70 Challenger convertable and at least one custom chopper. There's also a 91 240sx that a kid I work with just finished up with full coilovers and 5 lug conversion, and my "soon to be" 76 Porsche 911 Targa. The best thing bout working there is people get orders on short notice and have to "dump" cars for cheap or free. I've had several cars given to me like 2 Mustangs. One of my co-workers got a free honda accord and then there's the bi-annual auctions where I've gotten my 86 MR2, a 79 Mercury Zephyr(best money I ever spent), an 88 Chevy Beretta($65 and it ran!)and an 86 Celica that I gave to my Mom after her 83 280zx died

Actually, they're 15x7" old school Centerline wheels. I'm hoping one of my friends in Japan can come up with a set of Watanabe wheels for me. These will eventually be polished and new tires are already on the way:D

Thanks guys.... I've already contacted Charlie @ Zedd findings about some floor pans and I'll probably order them tomorrow. The worst thing about the car is the wiring harness. The previous owner basically jury-rigged every thing so now I have to sort that out. Things like the headlight switch starting to smoke whenever the lights are turned on leave me feeling uneasy. I may end up using a Painless harness just to eliminate all those headaches ot I might try one from these guys: Oem harnesses And as for welding skill, well, I'm learning but I'm not afraid of making a few mistakes here and there :classic:

Hi, Folks!! Been lurking for awhile and now I finally have pics(see my gallery) of a 75 280Z I bought last December. Got a decent deal (or so I thought) for $700.00, but I'm beginning to think otherwise Car seems in relative good shape as the engine was rebuilt shortly before it was put into storage for 8 years. Sent the triple Webers to BFIC in Cali for a rebuild and the car started right up and settled into a 1000rpm idle(?). Clutch was locked up from the disc being frozen to the flywheel but it came apart nicely and I was able to re-use it. Good thing because apparently it's a centerforce :classic: As you can see from the photos the floors are in sad shape and the p/o tried to create his own version of frame rails.. much to my dismay Thankfully I work at a great shop and have access to a plasma cutter and Mig welder and soon a pipe bender and tig as well Oh well, lemme know what ya think :nervous:
