  3. It would hurt the paint Maybe tape off the front with masking tape where dirt, dust and rocks would hit.
  4. Maybe a thick wall vinyl hose taped to a vacuum can be pushed into the passage like a procto-scope... or even your cool camera.... hmmm I think you can do exams now that you have the tools and experience.
  5. Kats, it looks like an autopsy investigation was done on your car! I sadly could not make it but I am enjoying these photos!!! Thanks for "bringing the Z to North America" again! I know someone else who did this in 1969

Run a leads to the battery posts for most usefulness. This will tell you the voltage when cold (battery condition) and also the charging voltage (alternator/regulator functioning). You can run a separate lead to the coil +pos and install a switch in the dash to see the condition of the ignition system if you need to ever investigate in the field. You can run another separate lead to the starter motor and install a switch in the dash to see the condition of the starting system if you need to ever investigate in the field.

Looks like a draw-through-carb turbo set-up with nitrous. The carb is in the lower front corner, the turbo is just in front of the brake fluid reservoirs and the hard lines near the centre of the valve cover seem like the nitrous distribution system.
  18. Back to the title.... I would have thought a poo ride to be a soft ride?
  19. Smog pump emission system: pumps fresh air into the exhaust stream to dilute it and to help with removing some harmful gases by chemical reaction with the air.
  20. The bungs inside the header manifold may whistle. Consider plugging then grinding smooth.
  21. 1 is softest.
  22. check plugs... are you running lean?
