Z35 the new 240?
If you look from the back to the front, you can see a nice shape forming with smooth lines...I think there is a nice car underneath that drawing but Nissan 'stuck" an ugly virtual body kit on the nose hood and sides to still keep these parts secret (like camouflage vinyl on early test mules at the track). The convoluted "Angry Bird Face (even with a beak)" and reverse-mustang side swooshes are not "z" and seem to give it away.

Z35 the new 240?
Well if a four cylinder turbo can be this: BMW M12 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia then it can't be too bad. The s2000 has a fun 4 banger for the street....if Nissan keeps the weight down then it would also help. A turbo 4 in NEW 510 would be fitting.... and an I6 for a new 6 of course.

Progress on rust repairs
It would be interesting to fit the float and take some measurements. It would also be nice to know how high the pick-up is above the tank bottom.

Just have a small tail cable with a usb female connector on it and let the user connect to it as they want during installation....such as running a standard USB cable to the undredash or to the center console or to the glove box or to a jack on the dash, etc. Just give them something standard to connect to outside the box and let them deal with it.- Progress on rust repairs
love the tank work. Please take shots of every part of that chassis inside and out if you can. It looks great!- Anyone know a supplier of these flares in Japan?
Not yet... I'm heading to Japan ~ sept 24. Still some time.- 1972 Float Adjustment ...
I am in love with that lab calibration!- Cheapskate Paint Job
Great minds know no boundaries.... and don't like lawn work: Why not put a reversed leaf blower in that datsun?- S30 in 3d
Got it! Keep on trucking!- 1972 Float Adjustment ...
The engine does know know where the floats are... it only sucks in air. The fuel level in the jet should be the same for both carbs so that the suction at the top of the jet draws the fuel up the same height. It is like drinking from a long straw vs. a short straw when you simply the process. The length of the straw is more important when the suction is weak due to gravity... as the suction force increases, gravity forces matters less.- S30 in 3d

Diamond Racing wheels?- mechanical throttle linkage, what's the problem ?
I wonder if the edges of the throttle valve are the culprits and they embed a little into the aluminum wall under vacuum due to wear? Can vacuum do more than this?- Rust proofing hidden areas
Not sure how well this works but it fits the requirement: Eastwood Internal Frame Coating - 240z brochure thread
