  1. Yellow means it is installed correctly and torqued to spec. My S2000 has these all over. The colours on the springs are for location and type/spring constant.

  6. If it is too advanced at higher rpms you will loose power and it may ping. Remember that rotating the distributor changes both the idle advance and the max advance the same amount.

  9. Try to set max ~ 36-38 and idle ~15-18
