It is hard on everything. I saw a lot of cam profiles in tech articles and photos but that one is the wildest and is nearly a 90 degree angle. It is from a Japanese rebuilding site. I'm not sure if it was for road racing or drag racing... I'll guess drag.
  2. Looks like the original studs are cut short and a threaded adapter lengthens the push rod to make up for the extension of the booster into the engine compartment. I am wondering if DGV to manifold adapter plates could be used as the concept is similar for coupling carbs to manifolds. 3. Hi Mike, The triangular part was on the back of the fire wall piece. I found a ss bolt that would fit in the center of the snap. The threaded part would go through and a big flat washer in the back held it securely. I think I also found a cupped washer for the front to stop the snap from sinking in.
  4. Mine have rubber on both sides:
  5. There is a picture on the net of the reverse,,,, blow-through turbo setup where the boost collapsed the sealed brass floats.
  6. I think the springs shold be the same for rotational stability. They are the same on stock, The lighter spring may be some weird 2 stage racing mod to slow the initial advance at the sacrifice of stability and wear.
  7. Saw this on a site in Japan:
  8. Great info! They are also in the loose hardware parts bins in most ACE's too. Here is the series 1 hardware.
  9. I can loan you a cam to experiment with if you want.
  10. check the fitting for the send and return, they can de-solder.

Hopefully you will find one. You may also consider taking the oil cooler and picture to a leather craftsman.
