I took that file to kinko's and had it blown up to like 2 foot by 3 foot with the colors, only like 40 bucks, alot easier to read for us old farts!

This smoking is a bit odd to me, it doesnt seem to smoke will idling or when reved sitting still. but as you drive and get on it a bit then let off like when comming to a stop light is when the smoke appears!! Wouldnt susspect the head commponets just had head redone with new seals a few months back, only leaves rings right ?

Trust me you cant say too many things that I havent already thought about, he is living with his mother now, and also the reason we split. Bear with me a minute! It was bound to happen, While I was out of state for awhile my 16 yr son snagged my 77 280Z AT LEAST twice! Now clutch is burnt!, 2nd gear synco grinding abit, bearing noise (tranny I think) And now smoking abit AARRRGGGHHH! prob has alot of miles anyway, speed o reads 65000 who knows. Anyway got a Zclub buddy that has a 2600 with 3 webber setup and 5 speed attached with about 40000 miles on it. all I really know is that it has an E88 with beefed up cam (Square Ports, headers included, COMPLETE motor ) he pulled it 2 years ago to go with a pro built LT1). Good guy , Trusted. wants to get it out of garage so it will be for a song! What should i axpect if I swap ! power from carbs versa FI do I need to swap Computer or anything else will my wiring harness have everthing need to run this engine ECT ECT!! Any opinions!!!

Original Terre Haute boy here myself, now in S.C. made the trip back (thru Naptown) like 5 times in the last 2 months,

if you have access to an impact wrench there should be no need to do anything, they will break loose with out spinning the flywheel!

noticed this more when car is cold (before first drive). 77 280,5 speed, mostly stock that I know of. worst when temp is COLD outside, you can push in the clutch, start the car, put tranny in nuetral and let out the clutch and 2 things happen. #1 as you let out the clutch the engine rpms will drop 200 or 300 rpms like there is a load on engine and #2 if you dont have the brake on the car will actual try to creep forward with the clutch disengaged and the tranny in nuetral. I do think that the tranny was filled or at tleast ALOT of LUCAS GEAR OIL used in it not positive thou! Any Speculations????

just put the tokico hp set in my 77, got the struts and springs on ebay for 360.00, and while it was apart went with the hyperflex bushings. what a difference!

hopefully installing my new tokico hp's and springs (1") this weekend in my 77, if the idiot paint dude gets done screwing around. Made him repaint the front clip for the 5th time.

If I remember correct, there IS abig diff between the KYB and the Tokico's. The KYB are for the stock springs and the tokicos are for "LOWERED" springs. You could have lowered springs all around, but hope they didnt modify the tubes!

Nice response Dragon! And i do have a front and back if you want them, but you have to come get them, I avoid driving back thru those gates after retireing from F.E. Warren about 11 years ago!!!!HHEEEHEHEH. But as far as the vote Im undicided (lololol).

Thanks for the comments, yea the rims will come in time those were on it when i got it! As far as behind the fiberglass no extra protection, i figure if you crash fiberglas is gone anyway soooooo!!!! mounted real solid though, had the body shop do mount it, hell no extra charge so why not. Hey Jmark if you have any extra fusible links bring them to the meet, i got one thats on its last leg!
