77Z i have a set from my 77 that arent going back in!

ive had a 78 and have a 77 and neither had those, never seen them before sorry!

MANNNNNNNNN!!!!!! I would hate to have the MORE DESIREABLE Head ! Gosh almighty, swapped out the head,HEHEHEHEHEHHEHE , lots of fun! runs like a raped ape. Relatively a simple process for my first Jap car repair. Cylinders had NO ring Lip at the top so who knows what has been done to it or when. Flat top pistons, lettered 23 and 42 if i rember right. took the boys for a ride tonight(teenager and his buddies), they were impressed!!! AHHHHHHHA the life of a ZZZZZEEEERRR!!!! Jmark we gotta hook up dude give me a buzz!!! Goes in for the body kit and paint next week !!!

Im thinking maybe sonny"s. Said he will put on the body kit and do the paint and clear coat for approx 1800

also doing away with the big bumpers so guess it dont matter, waiting for the last replacement part for this MSA aerokit to show up, had to send 2 diff peices back ! then off to body shop!

dont know if i would have thought of that, think that is the same wing i just got !

What does everyone do with the original emblems, do you relocate them or just remove them. Two different style wings i have looked at interfere with the original placement of the "5 Speed" , "Datsun", and "280Z" emblems.

yes it has like a round sleeve inside the exhaust ports. and it still says N 47

Round ports, Nothing other than N47, JMark B&M machine in geeeeeerrrrr, did the valve job, ill do the replacement. Now there is a a " F S K" on the valve cover mating surface between the 1 & 2 manifold side. and toward the 5 & 6 there is a " Z 4 "

Ok i have uploaded head pics dont know if they have been approved yet here is the link http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=7742 all i could find was the N 47 that i originally stated, there is a "9-2" at the rear of the head on one side and a " # 19" on the other. and a "22" on the front or first cam tower. Any Ideas??????? Ok ! just talked to the guy i got the head from. He said it was a 78 Z, I dont think so, didnt all up to 78 have the oil tube. anyway he replaced the engine in the 78 due to blown something with a used engine(he was told a 78) the valves were bad, so he took the old head off the bad engine and swapped them, bolted up , ran good, blah blah. So looks like now that the valve job is done it will interchange but still would like to know the details or identification on it! Thanks for the help!
