John, thanks for stating this. This may be my problem as the smallest bumps and dips in the road cause harsh jolts. Any ideas on testing the condition of my tokico illuminas?

But if flipping the rear springs will soften up my ride, that is a simple solution to save my aching spine and also some $$!! Thanks again.

I believe (per previous threads) that they are installed right side up as the Eibach logo and id numbers are right side up. I figured the 6 or 7 coils touching equalled zero travel from those coils. If they are supposed to be that way I guess I don't fully understand how progressive springs work. Beandip, I've wanted the euro springs because that's the ride I'm looking for. Unfortunately I cannot find any for sale. Anyone know of a similar spring to the euro? How about the tokico hp?

Howdy Folks, My '71 240z is equipped with tokico adjustable shocks and eibach springs from the PO. The ride is very harsh even on the softest setting.The .001s are in the front and the.202s are in the back. The rear springs have most of the coils touching(see photos). Is this common when springs wear out? Or could they be installed incorrectly. The fronts look pretty normal. The car is riding on some pretty stiff(and worn) Falken tires which I plan on replacing with something a little less aggressive once I get the suspension issue sorted out. Thanks for any help

howdy folks, i've seen that integra seats are easily adaptable to the 240z. does anyone know anything about RSX seats? I've found a pretty nice pair from a 2002 acura. thanks.

i'm trying to find some non retractable shoulder harness seatbelts for my '71 240. the few i've seen in the local junkyard are worthless. are there any aftermarket belts out there that aren't too expensive as i will be replacing them later when i install a racing seat. how about something i can use in conjunction with my existing lap belts. they are in great shape. thanks for the help.

hello. i've recently purchased a '71 240 after much research(this site helped a great deal). the car came with almost everything needed for the 300zx brake swap.toyota 4-piston calipars, 300rotors,jsk spacers, but no bolts.i've learned through these forums that i will need 10mm x 1.25 x 40mm long (10.9 hardness). is the 1.25 the thread pitch? how about the bolt head? i've contacted motorsport and they do not sell just the bolts. any ideas of the best place to make this purchase? is there anything else i'll need? the swap looks pretty straight forward, anything i should specifically watch out for. any or all help is greatly appreciated! i look forward to many more discussions in the future.
