That is amazing detail, ive done a few models but nothing with an engine really yet, that looks just like the engine came from the factory, even with the a/c belt attached

I do agree it is kind of fast but its not that fast, i think it warms up the engine reletivly fast and it sounds really good at those speeds

well what is the distributor order, or is it the same? how do you tell where 1 starts ect.

I would highly apreciate it if someone could tell me the firing order from front to rear of the engine and the distributor order, i recently ordered a header and a twice pipes exhaust package, but i already have my new spark plugs and wires, but my car sometimes missfires so i believe it is in the wrong order so i do not want to put in the new stuff until i know 100% that its all in the right order. Thank you

I am highly surprised no one suggested this, i have a 1977 datsun 280z as well mine idles at 1600 when i got it on the drivers side of the engine towards the front of the engine there is a big screw with a spring under it tighten it until you get the desired results, mine idles at aprox 900-1200 depening on weather. I have found this to be a good idle speed as it is not too high and not too low. If you cant find it i would be more then willing to take a picture of what im talking about.
