None sense, Anthony. There is not a car that I have found yet that I can't get to smoke the tires off!!! ya so it might be hard on the tranny but its fun!!! Speaking from a guy with a Camaro, Firebird and an LS-1 Z in the making, try alittle bleach water, or just really soapy water and pour it over the tires then do the gas brake gig!!! works everytime!!! just know that something can go wrong, but hell if you roast your tranny then you can put in a manual and life will be good!! good luck and keep me informed on how that soapy water worked!

Hmm So what is there to think about, Dude go with the Viper. I don't know if you have ever driven one but the older ones are not designed the best IMO, it feels like you sit alittle weird in your seat bc of the tranny. BUT still hands down no comparison the viper WAY WAY over the 280zx!!!!

oh but don't put it in a 280zx 2+2 that is just ugly madness, you are losing all you performace to weigt not to mention they look like a grocery getter!! Stick with the 240z's and gut in to just what you need, that will make your HP go alot further!! Do what I did, all I have is a hallow dash and one Aluminum Kirkey race seat. no speakers, radio, heater, a/c, power steering, nothen all of it is gone! saves tons of weight, and get rid of those heavy seats too if you want to do it up right!

Any thing will fit. I've seen 502ci blocks dropped in them. And yes it has all been done, ls1 ls2 ls6 and ls7's. it is all on hybridz. so bite the bullet and check it out!

HA ha funny you should mention patients, that is one thing i have learned to have!! I work at a group home for trouble young men, and you wanna talk about patients!!! I spent 2.5 hours one day last week in a kids room while he was acting out and the whole time he spent flicking the light switch on and off!!! and just yesterday a kid "also while acting out" sang at the top of his lungs " I F*cken hate your stupid F*cken arse Chris" over and over for about 2 hours!! so ya that is one thing i do have!!! I live about an hour from where my car is so i don't have the time to work on it when ever I want!! But yes I shall stay in school to earn the big bucks!! Im done with all the hard classes, hell next semester im taking scuba diving!!! then I will graduate and apply to the FBI, and US Marshalls!!!

I have never even got to drive mine!! I had all the panels replaced and the whole car blasted!!! Yes I truely do have a rust free Z!!! NOW!!!! and I have an LS1 corvette motor sitting next to her waiting!! Just don't have the will anymore!!! OH and P.S. No i never even got a dollar!!! Hey guys long time no see. I've been bogged down my infinate hours of work and some very hard classes this semester!!! I haven't done jack with my Z in like 4 months!!! I haven't even logged on to the site in probably at least a month and a half!!! I need help getting motivated again. My car is depressing it is still hanging from the raffters in my garage, waiting for me to weld in the sub-frame connectors and half covered in POR-15!!!!! HELP GET ME BACK IN TO THE SPIRIT OF THINGS GUYS!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!

well i didn't want to give away my secrets but ok.... I grinded down all the parts I didn't want like the lip on the choke lever slot, then sanded it and the surrounding area, then grinded the cracks out larger and sanded, then gave it all a light sanding. I then took fiberglass resin/bondo and filled in tall the cracks and holes i didn't want. Let dry and sanded smooth, wiped it down with some tack cloth and blew it off good with the air compressor. I then used the regular rubberized under coating from your local parts store and sprayed it lightly. THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART!!!!!!! DO NOT SPRAY IT TO CLOSE TO THE CONSOLE, STAY BACK A DISTANCE AND DO LIGHT LIGHT COATS!!! ALSO TAKE A SHOP TOWEL AND AFTER EACH SPRAY CHECK THE NOZZLE TO MAKE SURE THERE IS NO BUILD UP OF THE UNDER COATING WHATS SO EVER ON THE LITTLE SPRAY BUTTON. IF THERE IS WIPE IT OUT CLEAN, BC IF YOU DON'T IT WILL BUILD UP AND EVENTUALLY SPRAY OFF CAUSEING A LARGE BLOB ON YOUR NICE EVEN COATINGS. THE OTHER THING I LEARNED IS IF YOU GET A BLOB OR A SPOT YOU DON'T LIKE, LEAVE IT ALONE ITS NOT THAT BAD YOU WILL ONLY MAKE IT WORSE BY TRYING TO TOUCH IT WHEN ITS WET!!! TRUST ME I TRIED!!! THEN AFTER THAT DRIED SPRAY IT WITH VERY VERY THIN COATS OF BLACK SEMI GLOSS PAINT, THE KIND THAT STICKS WELL TO PLASTIC. HERE IS MY FINAL VERY INPORTANT TIP, DO NOT TOUCH IT FOR LIKE A WEEK AFTER YOU SPRAY IT WITH PAINT BC THAT RUBBERIZER AS AIR IN IT AND THE PAINT SEALS IT AND IF YOU TOUCH IT BEFORE EVERYTHING IS ALL CUED AND DRIED IT MAKES LITTLE AIR POCKETS UNDER THE PAINT!! BIG PAIN IN THE arse TOO!!!! I figured out all the does and don't by practicing on old consoles I had laying around! When done it looks very very clean and neat. Mine turned out way better than i planed, and the holes i filled in turned out to be impossible to see where they once were. If I were going to do it over I would prob. use some sort of hi textured paint instead of undercoating It has to be way easier than trying to not mess up with that touchy stuff!!! Good luck!!

There is a big company here in Nebraska called Shell Valley. They make several different car bodies all of which are fiberglass, and I have heard that they do an amazing job. They might be able to make them for you and make them very HIGH Quality at that! I don't know if thats to far to ship but its a thought.
