I know this is probably a question for the hybrid z guys, but maybe you guys know too? I was just wanting to twin turbo my 240z, it has a 350sbc going in it. I am having a hard time finding turbo kits for it,, I have found i think two and that is it. Any clue on where i can get more, and that will fit under the hood? talk about a sleeper !!!

The one I just bought from victoria british cost me 59.95+ S&H so i will sell it for $50 +Shipping. And the other one I got from another fellow Classic Z member, it is in great shape just needs a spot weld on one of the bolt studs for $35 + shipping.

I have two passenger side buckets for sale one I just ordered from victoria british for my Z but I bought another z that does not need them, and so I have a brand new one and one in good condition. Both are metal so if anyone wants to buy them let me know.

When I was 15 i bought my first car my 67 firebird in great condition all original, and because I bought it with my hard earned money I had been saving since like age 7, I took the best of care for it!!! I babied that thing alot! I bet between the ages of 15 and 18 i waxed that thing well over 100times!!!! So i'll agree just because your young does not mean that that you won't take great care of the car!!!

I have an L28 out of my '72, the guy said he pulled the l24 and put it in for more horsies. it ran when I pulled it out of my car, tranny included! I also have an L24 out of my other '72 parts car that runs great I drove it around before dismatling the car, it has dual webbers with tranny also. I'll sell them to whoever wants them, $400 for both or 2 hundy apiece.

I unhooked the radiator and and pulled it, unhooked all wires and hoses. I then disconnected the drive shaft and jacked up the tranny a bit to hold it up and took off the tranny mount. I then took off motor mounts and about 25mins after starting my friend and I had an engine and tranny sitting on the floor.

from the pic that car looks like it has less rust than the one of mine that is getting a complete resto as we speak.

On my parts car, I wa originally going to restore it but tore it apart to bare everything and these are the parts that I found rust on you might check on this one! I got robbed on it to he said it wasn't as bad as it was but there was about an inch of bondo hiding everything! DAMN THEM! 1.By rear bumper bolts. 2. Under rear hatch, on that thin metal and under it too, where you can't see. 3. Rear fenders, along with innner fenders 4.doors underneath the hinges 5.Inner and outer rocker panels. tear up carpet and look 6. Floors, tunnel, esp. passenger side under heater. 7. Firewall by battery tray 8. Floor supports, front frame rails etc. 9. Door seams 10. Front fenders, and underneath them where you can't see on the inner body. Those are all I can think of that were bad on my crapy car so I hope it gives you an idea of where to look, and if your car was like this check for bondo and look in the rear hatch at the sides of the fenders from the inside and see if they have been replaced before and if you can tell if there is alot of bondo. Like I said I got bent over and didn't know it and I paid $400 for mine. Just a tip buy one that is good so you don't have to do what I did: floors-$200 headlight case-$60 front fenders-380 door skins-140 which i'm selling buy the way!!! rockers-120 rear wheel housing-300 rear arch-160 front frame rails-340

Take it to a good shop, they can digitally scan it or what ever the hell they do and get an exact match of what you want.

It Is Cars Like That Hummer That Make Me Want To Blow Sh*t Up!!! I Get Filled With Rage When I See Things Like That!!!

In my newer camaro something similar happend to me. It started out running fine, but when I would get out of the car and my leg hit the side when i stepped out I would get one hell of a shock, like a very good static shock, then a few months later it started feeling like it would miss and lose power once inawhile especially when i stepped on it or went up hills, but barely noticeable, not noticible to anyone but me who drives it all the time. It did this off and on for weeks, but only for a few seconds and not real often. I even took it in to the mech and he ran test and drove it and him and my dad both said I was crazy and not really feeling anything. turns out on my way home from work one night it started losing, lots of power, my amps went to almost 0, then gauges and warning lights started going off like mad, i was on a long over pass and kept going to get off, a few seconds later the radio failed fallowed by lights, followed by warning lights, and the car was still running and the tach and speedo went, then power brakes and stearing. talk about a freaken mess!!. It would just click click click when you turned it over. Ended up being spark plug wires had been arching off each other and everything else, It fried both coils, and some other $^!#! Had to replace the coils, spark plugs/wires, and some computer junk. Total bill was like 6 hundy. If I were you I would take it in and have it looked at by someone that actually believes you before you end up spending and arm and a leg like me!!!
