you bet i would love to talk to fellow z'ers if you want to drive to see me, to bad my z's are not running, but hey in like 3 weeks they go into get all of the body done, so i will be happy!!! but ya seriously that would be cool to get all of the z'er down here, In kearney NE here every july we have a huge event called cruise night it is about 3 days long with car shows and all sorts of cool things and in the evenings hundreds of old muscle cars and exotics start to come out and they cruise the stip till about midnight. it is great you should all come down and see my part of the country. p.s. I don't think it is a roof I think this is a pic from an earth quake when one of those over passes fell down on the road underneath, but maybe it is a roof. Laters

I don't know who can do it unless you come to NE where I am, but I do have a pair of brand new front frame rails I was going to use for my '72 but I bought another 240z and it didn't need them and now I don't need them, I can sell them to you if you want. let me know.

no matter what you call it, it was crazy I had no fenders they were all made and formed out of bondo!

just thought I would tell you guys about this since you have a 260 and all. A few miles from my house there is a 260z in pretty bad shape, but i hear it has triple webers on it. and i think he wants to sell it pretty cheap! so if anyone wants these or the whole engine or head i can check for you.

My parts car would give anyone a run for there money, no outer rockers on either side, no inner on the drivers side, no floors, no fire wall, the fenders, no wheel wells, no frame rails, doors are crap, hatch crap, pretty much anything. I would like to stangle the guy I bought it from. You will think I'm kidding but i swear it when i got it home, i literally took a grinder on the rear fenders and there was about 1 3/4" thick of bondo in some places. I'm pissed just thinking about it. PLEASE PLEASE never do this to your Z's, they need bondo like we need a hole in the head!

I think it is almost cheaper to find one with out much rust and pay the extra, rather that buy one cheap and have to have it all fixed, I'm speaking from experience! your a pontiac guy hu? I have a 67' firebird and my dad has a '67 GTO. good to see more of us here!

Well it could just happen again!! i have some picks of the stuff I will put on.

I just went home and looked at all the sh*t on my older parts car and I have. L24 engine runs great or just the dual webers with k&n air filters 4 speed tranny also great all the suspension some pretty cool rims with little spinner caps. doors hatch without glass. gas tank/filler tube all that crap a couple of the heaters and fans radiator head light buckets I just put in a new master and slave clutch cylider so I can take them right back out also and I have a brand spanken new ingnition switch with two keys I never got put in and now I don't need it and out of the good car- it is a 72' 240z also but the guy I bought if from said it is an engine out of a 280z minus the emissions, everything is there, everything is for sale, comes with 4 speed tranny or with out for all i care. If you need anything just let me know. I'm in nebraska so if your up for a road trip you can just go to town on buying and dont' have to pay shipping!

Damn, picky picky!!! I have 2 72's one for me and another for me! mainly one is a parts car! I think i have some of those things, I know I have the inspection light and it works great. wanna buy it? another thing, I just bought my good car the other day and I think the original spare tire was in it and it looks really good, if any one wants that it will be going up for sale along with, dual webbers, the rest of the engine, tranny, headlight buckets, alot of stuff. let me know you can email me at cremmenga@hotmail.com

I should have it down to 2000lbs, and 500hp that makes 4lbs per hp! That is better than the ferrari's. I can't wait like you said It will be a blast!!! and I am using the jtr kit and I'm going to place it the recomended distance from the firewall and get it as low as possible! I am also moving the battery in back next to the fuel cell so that should help a bit more! keep in mind i'm a 20yr old college student, working fulltime and taking 17 credit hours, its going to take me awhile just to afford to get the body completly done though! (hints the signature, i'm not kidding when I say send me money!!!

empty your radiator, pull the oil plug and rev it to the floor and I will have just solved half your delima

shoot! because I have power getting to it just none coming out. Cars can be a pain in the @ss sometimes!! oh well it will all be worth it when i turn the key and it starts! any other ideas please let me know! anyone??

Ok i need a reply fast guys im in a bit of a hurry. i have an hour and a half drive to get my other coil if that is what is the matter so please someone help! ok i tested all of the wires going to the coil they are all good but i'm getting no spark from the coil wire so this means it has to be a bad coil right?? thanks a million!

I know driving is 80% car is 20% but I love the v8 sbc's I have a 350 with about 500hp so it should be a riot!!

for now just you know working on corning, mainly parking lot type with cones. I will see where it goes from there. I prob. won't do much more than that till i have my v8 swap done.

I have recently started to practice for racing my 240z. I stumbled on some really great websites that show and tell you so tips on how to race, steer, brake, etc.. the guy that media blasted one of mine did take out some bondo, and not to mention my back window!

my 72 had the original primer and paint and also had a poorly done coat over it. The poor one some guy did and it was bad, but I razor bladed the whole car to original color, then wire wheeled the whole thing to bare metal. If you do it this way have fun I shall never do this again took forever and 4 million wire brushes. I would find some place and have it media blasted, I think it is about as cheap when you figure your time and money for wire wheels, and from what I have seen it does a way better job.
