Mine had pinstipining! It was so freaken ugly!!! It was not original but who ever repainted it, painted it white with bright pink pinstrips and a little lightning thing on the side. The first 30 mins I had it home i took a grinder to it, all the way down the sides till there was no pink left! I felt much better after that!

On my 67 firebird my seals around the door leaked just a bit, and my uncle said he used baby oil on his old corvette to soften it up. I tried it and it seemed to work. Maybe it could work for you.

I know what your talking about sometime ago they had a speacial on like discovery channel about it. It was in some big deep cave the they where free falling from. They slow motioned a film and made it clearer and sure enough the flying sticks where there. They looked like a spiral little thing.

I have an atachment on my 72 240z the all you have to do is take off your column cover and it slipps on right next to the turning signals, I also have the cables and the little "thing" for lack of name it attaches to in the engine compartment. I took it all out, and i am planning on selling it if anyone is interested.

I just cut everything off my 72 240z. It sounds like a mean one!! i love the way it idles down and pops from high rpm's. I think if you don't live in a area where you know the cops won't give a rats butt then i would keep it on, because DAMN it is loud!!

I put it in the gas tank. And i bought the highest octane gas i could get, 93 octane, and put a whole thing of octane boost in, didn't know if it was to much for the beast but it fixed mine!

I love this video, i must have watched it 20 times, its like a whole herd of bad asses coming to take over the streets!! I WANT IN!!

Mine did the same thing. I just put in octane boost,and sea foam. I also put in new spark plugs and drove it a bit and got that sea foam through the carbs. Never backfired since.

I have taken off the head light buckets and front fenders and just in that little bit i have twisted off alot of bolts, just wondering if this is happening to alot of you. I'm not worried about it i have all the tools to tap them out, just wanted to know if there is somthing i should be doing to prevent this. I am using penetrating oil and leting soak for hours if not days and spraying it several times. Any ideas or just keep twisting away??

I know like i said only 1800 miles on her and it is one of 1000 made that year, hints the champion edition. He bought it new last spring for like over $12,000 and now is wanting to sell it because he lost interest. I think he said he would sell it for $8,500, bc that would pay off the rest he still owes on it and how much a good down payment would cost him for this new pick up he wants! If you are interested PM me i'm not kidding man this thing flies, shuts off at 198 mph.

I bought a bushing kit tonight, just wondering what i have to do to install it. Jack up the car and go at it, or are there certain things you need to do to get the old bolts and such out? I have searched but found nothing, please help. Thanks

I still cuss when thinking about that damn bumper! I ended up taking a grinder to it. and then spent the next ten minutes at the punching bag! Another one just last weekend, which should have been a walk in the park was, the radiator bolt, the first 3 took me like 1 min tops for all of them but the rusty one under all the A/C hoses and other sh*t took about 40min, couldn't get it loose and when i did it was another one of those just enough room to turn it about 1/8 of a turn and then the wrench would fall off!AHHHH i could go insane because of this car!

I have looked at many sites and links, on the differences in the r 180 and the r200. I am going to put an r200 in my 72 240z, the local junk yard has some 280's but the rearends are all still in them. is there an easy way to tell if it is a r200 while it is still in car? And whats the magnet trick? Thanks Again guys..
