??Need Turbo Help??
ok here is the deal, I live in the middle of no where Nebraska, and I can't find a damn soul around that knows anything about turbos, I am wanting to figer out what turbos would be best for my SBC conversion in my 240z? If any of you know anything about turbos and can help me figure out a size that I would need please do help. I have tried Banks, and several other places but I don't want to shell out the $6000 all at once to buy it from them and if you don't buy the stuff they are kinda reluctant to give you the fine details on everything. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!!! thanks guys

Need advise on storing refurbed parts
I just talked to a machinist the other day about things like this, mainly my engine block but also smaller metal parts. He said Oil it up good if it has to sit out side. But if it is in a temperature controled place like a basement or other room in your house it would be fine, or if your garage has heat and a/c, you would not even have to oil them up. And he warned me about sealing them up in plastic, that it could actually be worse doing that b/c it can trap the moisture in it. For me since my engine block has to sit outside, bc it is at my parents house and I doubt my mom would let me keep it in side, I have to keep it in the garage, he told me to put a light coating of oil over it all and then put the plastic engine bag over it, not seal it up bc of moister but just place it over it to stop dust from building up on it.

What I've been up to!
Ha ha Ya i can't believe I did it either, I ask on this thread if anyone thought it would be ok to do and nobody said anything so i went with it! there was no damage at all. well i f'd up the little red wagon but other than that nothing. He did the whole under side, engine bay and interior compartment in under 2 hours, cost me $140 which was well worth it!!! I'm going to put it back on its side in the garage to POR-15 it!

What I've been up to!
These are the pics of my kirkey road race seat. It is just sat in there not on any brackets so its alittle low. the other pics are my fuel cell and battery box just sat in there, I think that is how i am going to want them. I'm planning on building the frame for them this weekend.

What I've been up to!
This is my center console I filled in the choke lever slot and the other holes in front with fiberglass resin, then sanded smooth, and gave it a light coat of undercoating for texture and plastic painted it, then polished the metal and now it is better than new!!
