THANKS for the info...So I don't need the driveshaft ?? ....I have 11 cars but I don't think there is room at the bottom for all of them. I have been reading this forum for years but never really had a question. I just got a engine with webers from Craigslist so I will probably be back. Dave

Hello...I have had my 1972 Z for 29 years and have always wanted a 5 speed trans. It now has a 4 speed. I have a friend that has a 5 speed from a 1982 280ZX . He says it will fit right in my Z but I'm not so sure. Does anyone know if it will bolt in ? I can also get the drive shaft if needed. Thanks in advance... Dave
