Gonna part it out....sad but true.
One extra thing I forgot to mention. I have seat upholstery new in the box. Gonna part it out....sad but true.
Hey...no offense taken. I have already beat myself to death over this decision......so at this point, I'm pretty numb on the subject. As for pricing, I have already gotten some email inquiries on specific parts. The emails came before the thread replies, so I will be fair and try to respond to those in some sort of order. Once again.....feel free to email me at: jvoncanon@gmail.com and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Somebody was asking about glass. The windshield is not salvageable, but the rest of the glass is intact.

Gonna part it out....sad but true.
Ok...will make this short. I have a 1972 240z....the one that initially got me hooked on this site. Well, time and money constraints have helped me to arrive to the conclusion that......it ain't gonna happen. The project has been on hold for months, and it looks like the final cost after sheet metal repairs etc. would put me way beyond what it would have cost me to purchase a solid car from the start. You have heard it here a million times before....and it's true. Start with a structurally sound car to begin with. Upholstery and engine can always be remedied, but the most important thing is a good solid base. Anyway, I am getting ready to part it. I am unsure which route I will take as of yet.....whether it will be Ebay, or just local. I will also be selling the 260 parts car. If any of you are looking for particulars....you are welcome to email me at: jvoncanon@gmail.com. I have a few extras such as the aluminum Bob Sharp 4 barrel intake. The engine is from a 71 and has the E31 head. All of this is located in North Carolina. My AOL AIM user name is rcademaker if you catch me online. Take care everybody......I'm gonna go cry now. :disappoin

OT-Carl Stahlnecker Died June 16th
Conversations with Carl reminded me a lot of conversations with my father. Don't ask a question, and expect a sympathetic answer. Answers were always straight shots that may make your day, or rub you the wrong way if you were the sensitive type. Did not know Carl well, other than some conversing with him through this site. He seemed to be a "what you see is was you get" kind of fella. I admired that. Rest In Peace Carl. You will be missed.

Thinking of selling my 72 240, any interest/price advice?
Yes and Yes. If that's the car you speak of pictured in your gallery.....looks like a keeper to me. Good luck with your decision.

lead gas additive causing sediment??
My father has a Model A Ford. We recently had to flush the tank because a lead additive had be added in the past. Evidently some additives settle/separate if left standing for a time. Was a real clogger.

Hmmm....wish I had two votes....you must have submitted this after voting had already started, somehow I missed it. Excellent picture, and hey....all the information in your description sounds ready for print in the magazine. Oh....and about the sexy and alluring comments, I am not sure that is what this contest is all about, but in my opinion, this is the most sexy and alluring picture submitted thus far. Two awesome ladies there. Good luck!!

Best Pose with a Zcar - CONTEST
OK.......what in the world is keeping you guys from submitting to this contest. My submission was strictly for humor, and besides, my car is totally dismantled and looking ugly at the moment. I know for a fact that a large portion of the members of this site have some slick look'n rides that they could submit, along with the significant other. Heck, tell the significant other they can wear a parka and sunglasses, who cares. Pull that car out of the garage, stick an old 8 x10 glossy of her on the windshield, and take a picture. After all that work you put into the car.......show it off. I know its sunny and warm in NC today, perfect day for a good picture here. There are a few nice pics already posted, but there should be many by now. Go here : http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=3300 Click on the upload photos button at the top right......can't get easier than that.
